I think supercharged cars suffer in performance once it gets above 130 mph. My Z06 pulls bus length from 60 to 120 compared to the GT3, but once it hits above 120, car doesn't seem to accelerate anymore.
Probably the same thing with the Hellcat. Supercharger looses efficiency. Plus the car is an aerodynamic brick.

Btw was a C7 Z06 at the 1/2 mile event, and if so what did it trap?

About three weeks ago a white/blue stripe with track pack popped up with sub 1k miles private owner for under sticker. I think everyone needs to pump the brakes for a month or two and wait for the market to POP on the speculators faces who will ultimately take a haircut on this hot potato....
This same hysteria was rampant back in early spring 2006. The cars of the time were the 2007 GT500 and the 2006 C6 Z06. Both were commanding $20k over sticker. Meanwhile at the time FORD dealers would give away Ford GT's for under invoice (minus holdback).

Agreed ... dealer called me with a configurable car that can be changed up till Tuesday. He sheepishly suggested 2500 over. Told him I'd call him back.
Considering it at window but that's it. I think the 2017's may be a better value anyway because of the options that will be included. Btw, they are not making orange or deep impact blue in 2017 and adding 3 additional colors.

^Don't get 2016 guys.
You need to get 2017 with electronic package. You can order 2016 in either track package or technology package, which I think is stupid. I recently got a 2016 with track package. At that time, 2017 changes weren't announced. If I had know, I would've waited for 2017.

Also... if any of you decide to get a 2016 AND you will hit the track even if seldom... then do NOT get the Tech pack or Base versions since you will have a high risk for high trans/diff temps issues and will consequently experience limp mode after 15mins or so on the track.

For you guys that want to get an idea of what this car can do at a fast track, then check out this video. For some reason I could not get it to upload with higher quality. Please excuse the quality for now until I can figure out how to upload it with higher quality in the next couple of days.

You caught on to that!! Both of those cars were behind the Mustang most of the run until the tires on the Mustang were getting slippery - they were frustrated to say the least and would have been eaten up in the GT3RS. That was the open session when all run groups were out and there were some fast cars on the track at the time.
