Saw a red one today and it was sublime. I wish Porsche red was that brilliant.

I'm well aware of the GT350 acclaim. Nonetheless, I wouldn't expect exotic attention on the road

YAWN...by this time next year you'll be able to get a GT350 for under MSRP. It's basically the newest shiny toy in the mid 5 figure sporty car class.

It just must be in your DNA. You're bothered by the pricing of a car you're not even interested in buying...

The dealer games are annoying whether it's Porsche or Ford. Ford stealerships buying up allocations to only mark them up them up? They are taking that one from Auto Gallery's playbook.

I'll go one better than lumber. Sounds pretty elitist to me. Car I've enjoyed driving most last 60 days? 2016 Miata. Dead serious.

That's rich coming from someone who drives a Prius everyday.

After all the raving reviews of new Miata, I went to go test drive one. It's way too under powered to be any fun, at least for me. It felt too slow and just not exciting at all to drive. During the test drive, I was thinking to myself how fortunate I am that I can afford something better. Does this make me an elitist?

I know, I know but there's no other way to get to work. It's my parents fault for me not liking american cars, they used to keep telling me to never buy one.

I don't like most of them much myself, this one is worth your time.

Well...if you owned one then you would understand - I am shocked as well. As I said in a previous post, my GT350 gets as much or more attention than my GT3. You can't blame people for appreciating a really nice car and try not to get caught up in valuing a car on its sticker price alone.

Even my 15 year old son would point out how many people were taking pictures and video of the GT350 relative to the other cars I own - he really got a kick out of girls honking at us, especially in other Mustangs. Man, ya gotta give Ford credit for creating a great car that won't break the bank and delivers on the track.

Funny...there is a video in another thread in this forum that has all of these supercars in Bahrain. The only American Marque I see in the video is a red Shelby - they are highly regarded around the world as well.

So $4K above sticker + $1800 transport + $2,000 for the flight, hotel and rental car to get to the dealership. So I'm essentially paying $7,800 over sticker. But I had one of the best BBQ at Memphis.
That was an expensive flight! Congrats on the car.
