Why you swapping? I checked out the Rennline shifter - more expensive by about $200, uses plastic bushings instead of ball bearings and set screws to secure the shift lever. I don't see how that would be an upgrade over the Numeric, especially since you already have it installed. The cables all look the same no matter who's selling them. Suspect probably one overseas manufacturer everyone buys from and rebrands.
The cables are all similar (based on the Cup cables, I believe) but the minor differences made the Numeric cables incompatible with the CAE shifter.

Hey Guys,
I wanted to chime in with a little insight on Numeric. Dan the owner has been out most of this year with severe back problems and is still out currently awaiting major spine surgery. Jordan has been a one man show holding down the business with a wife about to pop with their first kid, doing everything he can to make a dent in the backlog and get orders out the door as his number two priority (second only to his wife). They are both having a very hard time finding anybody for employment for customer service/sales/order processing, it seems nobody wants to work and the very few people they've had come in were not up to any standard they'd work with. I know they appreciate all the patience you all have shown, and I can tell you their products are worth whatever wait it may be. They are indeed in a tight spot, and communication or responses from them for the near future will be light. Just know they are good on material, the quality of products are the same as always, and all the bandwidth Jordan has is going towards processing your orders and getting them to you as quickly as possible.
That is all folks, have a wonderful weekend!
Best Regards,
John Gaydos

I am looking forward ordering a bundle shifter & cable along with pedals for my GT3T, I found RENNLIST discount code doesn’t work with bundle, just the shifter? Do you have the same issue? I am going to try to send an email to Dan from Numeric as well.
Thanks,
Cedric

He's battled some health issues over the years. Back surgery is always super tricky and you don't always get the results you're looking for.
Dan and his team have built a great product. It's so hard to find good people these days as I'm sure you're aware.
For those of you who are waiting for your shifter/cables: trust me, it's worth the wait.

The shifter is flat out amazing! I'll order the cables this week and they will get here when they get here.
I wish Dan and the Numeric team the best!

56 days for me to receive my bundle. But understandable giving the circumstances, hope them all the best.
Just finished the install. Holy crap! This shifter is awesome! Makes our Civic Type R shifter feel sloppy…and here I thought that was as good as they get.

I listed my 996/997 cables here if anyone is interested: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1346327
Like the other posters said, current delays aside... one hell of a product.

I've installed many of these at my shop and have not noticed any increase in noise. You may notice an increase if you don't insulate the cables, but that's just a theory since I've always used the insulation on our installs.

I installed these over the winter and have not found any increase in noise at all but I do have a speedtech 3" exhaust so its quite loud). I was unable to re-use the factory rubber grommet when I installed the cables as I just couldn't get it back in with the AWD system on the 997tt. I did insulate the cables and I also packed the hole where the grommet was supposed to go with a bunch of duct seal to try and limit the cables from rubbing against the metal at that location.
All seems good. I did also lower the shifter to the shortest setting (I installed the shifter last year in the middle position and decided while doing the cables to give the lowest section a go) and it is not difficult but certianly notchy going into first before it is warmed up.
Great product and worth the wait.
