I installed only the shifter, not the cables and there's zero increase in noise from the gearbox. There is a more definied cliick as I engage each gear though which I love.

I’m at 8 weeks! Every time I ask about an update they tell me they are shipping it the next day. I own a business and machine shop. There is no excuse for lying or tricking customers into thinking something is in stock when they order

Mine took 6 weeks, but only for the shifter.

It's a labor issue, not a supply issue. A lot of this can be avoided if they simply have a message on their website and/or an auto reply that they are dealing with personal issues and it could take nearly 2 months for delivery. They offer a great product but customer service is not their strong suit.

Received mine today after a 6ish week wait ..996 t cables and shifter…. Excellent product. A simple message on the site stating they are having delays would calm most folks. Thx - Scrh1

I ordered mine on March 23rd and received it today for a total time of 48 days. I think Jordan is getting a handle on the backlog and I'm guessing lead time depends on the application, since as a one-man show he's probably assembling in like batches. That said, it's a stunning shifter and for me worth the wait.

I installed the shifter today. There's been discussion in the thread about gated shifters and, while my personal experience with gated shifters is limited to my past manual Ferraris (F355 and 550 Maranello), the Numeric, at least in this application, is much better than those. For anyone who's driven a car with a Tremec T-56 Magnum (Tremec TR-6060 in the Viper, Camaro and Shelby applications) this is almost as good. The Tremec has the advantage of the shifter being "in" the transmission and using rods rather than cables and it's probably the best shifting transmission I've owned. I first installed it in my '63 SWC Corvette and liked it so much I put it in my Firebird. The GT3 with the Numeric is nearly as good and that's with cables. While in my opinion it's not a jaw dropping difference, it is significantly tighter with much better, positive feel. Mine has the stronger spring (because that's just plain better) and I'm on the shortest throw possible. It requires more effort than stock, particularly going into reverse, but I love it. If I develop shoulder arthritis, I can extend the shifter an inch and a half in literally 2 minutes. For $700 it's probably the best bang for buck upgrade for a GT3.
The Youtube videos are very helpful. I was able to to complete the job in 45 minutes without scratching, breaking or otherwise damaging anything.

Ordered and delivered in about 1 week. I bought the Numeric transmission bundle for my 997. I live close to Raleigh NC. If you are looking for the 997 bundle I do not think that you will be waiting that long. Don’t forget to use the discount code.

I ordered a package for my 718S yesterday, we'll see how long it takes to receive it.
