Second that. Oddly enough, on occasion the liftgate mounted lock button will lock the car AND fold the mirrors. Was shocked when I watched it happen. It doesn't always work, and I haven't been able to ascertain if there is a pattern of when it does.

Another small gripe, on my BMW's I was able to program the "lane change flasher" from 3 to 5 flashes from the programing in the car, on Porsche, it needs a dealer service computer

Find someone who has a PIWIS or Launch etc. analyzer in your area and they can mod that for you. Search the Macan thread on how to do that

Hey
Anyone have a PIWIS or Launch in the Southern area of Palm Beach county?

Please post in the appropriate Regional Forum to maximize chances of finding someone in your area. Don't forget to mention you'll supply a case of beer or whatever

One thing I dislike (on a 2018 at least) is that during the day, only the right instrument cluster gauge is backlit, and the left two are dark. It would be a slightly more readable if the left two were backlit also, but mostly it looks weird to my eye to have 2/3rds of the cluster dark, and 1/3rd lit. Is there a setting available to make all the gauges backlit during the day? The lights are LED and will likely last far longer than the car, so not sure why Porsche keeps two of the gauges dark.

I find the 18 way seats in the Macan too confining.

I have the 14 way ventilated versions on my '18 S model and find them pretty good except for my bony butt crying for mercy after several hours.

On the 2024, there's no easy way to turn off the screen whereas on my 2020, there was a button on the home screen to turn the panel dark. On long road trips at night, the light glare is tiring, and it's far better to work off the smaller nav screen in the instrument cluster.
Yes, there's a button to turn off the screen in settings, but those options are deactivated when in motion. That's a design goof, for sure.

My wife would agree with you (she's xx small so shouldn't feel confined). I'm average build and find them the best I've ever owned so luck of the draw I guess.

That turns off the music, the navigation, and everything. I was looking to turn off just the screen to reduce the amount of light in the cabin during night driving, but I want to keep the music playing. I just couldn't believe they'd dropped that feature, and well, they hadn't. It just took me a while to find it! I really prefer the darkened screen for night driving. I'll put the nav in the dashboard.

This may have been mentioned, but anyway,,the BRAKE HOLD when stopped (at a light, in traffic) is one of the best features on any car..

I miss rear steer. You can get it on the Cayenne, but it is too big to fit in my garage.
