Updated my build a little - changed to Dolomite and the Black/Bordeaux interior.

Also had to change dealers . . . .

Seems like most folks here aren't new to the game, but just a reminder that a lot of times when a brand new model like this comes out the first wave of cars gets held at the port. US Govt or some state (Cali . .) stops deliveries while Porsche jumps through hoops. My BA says my allocation shows July delivery but I'm taking that as a best case scenario not the expected result.

I think you can kind of predict what resale will be on these. Just like the Taycan it’s going to tank. You don’t buy an electric vehicle for resale value. You buy them because they’re cool, fast and you haven’t figured out yet that it cost more money to charge them, then it would be to put fuel in them. :-)

having said all that, I’m going to buy one of these also.

While that's true, that wasn't the topic. The person was discussing what options to buy to make the car more attractive to a potential future owner. This is a common thing all over RL.

Default Gentian Blue Turbo Fully Loaded

https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRYV2NC6

Ordered mine last week - due to arrive some time in July. She's fully loaded just the way I want as I always do. I keep my vehicles for a long time, I live in them, and I love them. I have a 2015 Macan Turbo that is equally loaded and I loved every minute of my time with her.

Question for folks here: Porsche added a "watch your build status" to My Porsche which I was thrilled to learn about. Only, the site has been broken for a week . Anyone have information on why or when it might be up and running again? I suspect it's because the cars are very new and they weren't prepared to display all the details on their website so soon. ( Or its being swarmed by excited buyers haha ).
EDIT: Catching up on the last of this thread - damn - I was hoping I was a rare occurrence for technical difficulties.

and it's specific to the Macan Electric. I have a Spyder RS in production and it shows up. MyPorsche has been extra buggy lately. I've been leaving feedback on the site... there's a link at your summary page.

It's the dark grey... her current car is silver/red. I've probably had 6 red interior cars, Im a fan.
Maybe we change the color but she seems to like this one.

This will be my 2nd black/Bordeaux. Looks much better IRL than in picture.

I shouldn't have posted this! Jinxed myself (and others too).

Talked to my BA today - all their Macan EV allocations are now showing as hitting the Houston port in late June but not exiting the port until late-September. Plan shows cars at port nearly three months vs. original plan of two weeks.

Dates move around all the time in the system. I wouldn't think too much of this for a few months. Worth checking as cars get closer to freeze dates.

I received the email from Porsche, but in addition to the "Your order cannot be displayed at the moment" I also get an "invalid order number" at the top when I first log in. Anyone else seeing this on their orders?
