Thanks for comments everyone! I primarily wanted to know:
1) If there is a blacklist
2) If so, is my car on it

No and no. Good news. I agree my car is priced well for what it is. I cant de-spec it (sorry asofine) so I'll sit tight since there's no rush. I cant hold it till spring of '18 so sorry noro. AlanC, your MSRP was $117K? Wowsers. Thanks for the data but, wow.

My pictures do indeed blow but dont we all know this car inside and out? Im still holding hope that a well educated Rennlister will scoop this up and the car will remain with an enthusiast. Thanks again for everyone's input.

Why does it seem like everyone (especially on RL) is selling their GT4?

I am not selling mine, but it is surprising how many cars have traded hands. We know it is a great car, but not a GT3, so that could be the a reason. I think it is because it is a great car and has maintained its value, folks who got in early and were able to use the car for a year+ and a few thousand miles, can sell for approx. what they paid and move on to the next thing. Just my $0.02.

as I said before (as told by my SA) a lot of ppl bought these to get in good or stay in good with their dealership (get on the list) for when the new GT3 came out.

I don't get it either, I love the GT4 so much, no intention to move on anytime soon. GT3 is a fascinating car, but I love the mid engine platform and the underdog image.

I think a few people not wanting to hang onto their 14/15 GT3s went to GT4s with the thought of trading to the new GT3. Probably a more desirable trade than a Carrera S.

Some people get bored and go through cars really quickly. Pretty common.
Some people are seeing the writing on the wall and realized all the BS about this car being a collector, last NA, last MT, super special, etc, actually IS BS and they won't be able to drive the car for free or make money so they are doing what all poor investors do. Panic sell.

I swear, people are so gullible. Just like the morons in the GT3 forum saying how they'll be only 500-600 RSs in the US. I just want to yell out to STFU to those delusional people. Buy car, drive car, enjoy car, and when you are done with it sell car and if it doesn't depreciate much then that's the cherry on top. I bet when it comes time to sell my GT4 will be one of the lowest priced ones on the market because I had a blast with it.

I applaud your attitude. Want to make money invest in s&p 500 index fund. Bought a car... enjoy it. I am not yet a GT4 owner but I plan to enjoy much like my M3.. numerous season auto-x victories are worth more to me spiritually than few thousand bucks, not to mention all those long range scenic drives.

I was lucky enough to get an allocation for one of fifty Shelby GT350s race cars, which is essentially a Ford cup car. So I decided to go back to a dedicated track car, so something has to go to make room.

Love my GT4 and have used it on the street, not the track, but I have not used it as much as I would like with a family and headed to Hockey with my son all the time, need the X5 most of the time. So no reason to let the GT4 sit - might as well let someone else enjoy it!
