Best Track Times in a GT4

Actually, according to the data, 10-15 was no different, but I picked up a tenth at most of the other corners. At this point, it not about a single corner. It's about tweaking out and getting every single corner right. You screw up one corner, and the lap is done. This is why the 5 mile is really tough. I can't imagine how hard it is to nail every turn at the ring.

Harry's lap timer with external gps unit. Interestingly, with external gps, I matched the organizer's transponder down to the hundredth of a second. Could be just coincidence though.

Yes, I too have found gps times nearly identical to transponder. I'll bet if the start/stop markers were exactly the same they would be identical

I have my Aim solo data I can download from the car. My Aim camera system is having a problem. It is operational and seems to be recording. When I take the disc home and pop it into my laptop there is nothing on it. I re-formatted the card Friday when I ran and same result.
It it has only worked once for me. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong....
On a side note - the two changes to the car were the addition of my new wheels with fresh RE71's in the 255/305 combo and the TPC toe links. The toe links have made a dramatic change to the car as it doesn't get loose and unstable under heavy braking. I can stuff the car a lot deeper and harder now.
The downside to the TPC links is that I lost inboard clearance and had to run a 5mm spacer. We are going to modify the links as I plan to run a 265/315 R7 combo on the car at COTA in June.
I would have gone under 1:20 easily with the car but I only ran 5 laps to scrub in the new tires for Road Atlanta this coming weekend.

MSR time is flying. WOW. What kind of memory card are you using? Maybe it is corrupted and damaged or does it have sliding "write protection" on? Im just throwing some ideas out there. Try using high quality and fast memory card. I use Sandisk Extreme Plus on smartycam and it seems to work fine.
I had reformatted that card in the hope that I could save it. Looks like that was a no-go.
Looking forward to laying down some times at Road Atlanta next weekend! Car is seriously fast now.
