Didnt have any timing inside vehicle so dont know if this is ok. Stock GT4 using RE71-R's , 97deg temp too hot for PB. All others
in front wore Hoosiers , TTOD went to a 2600# 996 Modified Koni Challenge car with Hoosiers.
Following him was a 2015 GT3 , 2010 GT3 I think , Exige Cup car , Modified Exige then me...
Thanks,

SMMR East 2.1 mile - 1:31.92 - 21 May 2017 - Hoosier R7 - Suspension mods
I ran Spring Mountain Motor Resort last weekend on the East 2.1 mile loop. My only rabbits were the Mclarens driven by pros and a couple of Clubsports. The track is getting pretty beat up, there are a handful of turns where they have repaved the outer (loaded) wheel tracks at apex, and the pavement was coming up and spreading gravel (I slid off a few times due to this issue), so my times were fairly compromised. I managed a 1:31.92 (at least, that's what I managed to record on MoTeC). I messed up my dash manager when trying to load in the GPS coordinates for start/finish, and lost the ability to record data or even get laps times for most of the weekend. Long excuse for saying I was slow and I am not showing you my best lap times. And... I was on long-past-their prime Hoosier R7s. Ugh. Did I mention it was blazing hot and I finally got the MoTeC recording again in the penultimate session of the Sunday afternoon?
Tons of track traffic last weekend but when I got a clear track in front of me, I was a bit under 2 minutes. Fastest was a 1:57.91. I think 1:55s are possible with fresh tires. There was another man there in a white GT4 that was every bit as quick, perhaps quicker than I. No new mods: -2.5 in front, -2.0 in back, stock everything else, and shot Cup 2s. Put some new RE-71 on for Utah Motorsports Campus (aka Miller) next weekend, can't wait to try them out.
I can tell you for certain that 1:55's are possible. There's a few 1:55's in the session but here's the data for the fastest lap of the day (from the PCA HPDE on May 13th). I think 1:54's are possible if I work on a few things (...which you can see in the squigglies ). That's running with zero mods on the car, stock alignment and this was the 5th day running on Cup2's although by the end of this day they were toast
I put RE-71R's on there in the meanwhile and ran in the 1:33's at Pacific on Saturday -- I'm guessing you will like them a lot!
As for the Ridge, I'm told one of the PCA instructors runs in the 1:52/1:53 range in his Agate GT4 but he has a full array of suspension mods apparently.
p.s. PM me if you'd like to share data -- I'd gladly do that and comparing is pretty interesting.
Edit: forgot that I already uploaded the video for this lap...here's link for that:
GGR/PCA Duel in the Desert on Buttonwillow's config #1. Sorry to report that I failed to put the SD card back into the camera, hence no video of this lap. Here is a screen shot of the MoTeC:

Wow, really interesting watching your lap. I see some key differences between me and you:
- you are taking t1 much faster than me, maybe 5-6 mph
- you are doing the "diamond" double apex on 6; I was hugging the fog line
- you are staying in 3rd for 7, 8a + 8b; I was dropping to 2nd
- you are staying in 3rd for 11; I was dropping to 2nd
- you are staying in 3rd for 13, 14, 15; I was dropping to 2nd
As a result, I think you are carrying more speed on to the straight; my vmax was 137 mph.
If you are the Bill Lehman I think you are, you've got eons on my track experience, so I am a bit hesitant to ask this question but I did notice something I wanted to ask: I always learned hands should be at nine and three and I notice yours seem to gravitate toward ten and two.
