Got it. However, I've observed that Potter frequently uses a lot more of the track than you do - the parts with grass and dirt
Oh yes. I'm still not using every single inch of the track. I have a hard time unwinding the wheel sooner. That will help me use more track and exit faster.
Just missed a sub 2 min lap with the cyclone this weekend. Joe, I think you and I have a healthy fear of going off where Potter has no fear. I'm happy that I was running within about 1-1.5 seconds of his best times on Saturday. I'll post up my 2:00.4 lap time video chasing Mooty tomorrow.

Nice! 1 second off pace of Potter is nothing to be disappointed about it. After following him around this past Friday, I noticed a few things about him. First off, very smooth. No sliding. Second, he doesn't make mistakes. Very consistent. I can hang with him when I'm on, but if I make even the slightest error, he gains a tenth, and then another, and another. I saw him make one small mistake the entire time behind him vs my multiple.
I did a 2:12:42 at Utah Motorsports Campus last weekend - the outer configuration - while chasing down a GT3RS. RE-71R, -2.5F/-2.0R camber, otherwise stock. I know there was a guy with Hoosiers who did a 2:09 so I'm not the fastest by any stretch, but might as well get an entry for UMC up on the leaderboard.
^ oh, then potter must be rusty
he slides!!! and slides right into dirt ;-)
always exciting to drive with him
Been in cockpit with him and he definitely slides .... for benefit of laptimes. Does he still repeatedly go off at t9 but "damn he saves it moment" when it happens. He grins/smiles when it happens. The guy can drive!!! No fear mantra for him. Mike
