It was so great putting all the names to faces at COTA. It definitely feels like we have a brotherhood here on rennlist!

Updated parts - switched fabspeed sport headers for race headers. New top hats from tarett to get to 9.7 caster. 305/285 re71 compared to 285/245. Sway bar - R middle / F full soft

Got lucky and somehow managed a 2:29.82.

I literally yelled in excitement once i saw the lap time! Lap times started to deteriorate toward end of day bc of tires. The brand new RE71s are almost toast! They basically looked like slicks at end of day. Don't know what i'm going to do about this b/c only 2 days is ridiculous. Maybe its just my inexperience.

Tires were a huge issue for me. Car never really felt as stable compared to my 285/245 setup. I believe i will be going back to this.

I believe with the correct tires - 285/245 i have at least another second, and plus if i can fix the most important issue....the driver I can get probably another second as well. This car is fast boys! I think with right temperature and the stars aligned i think 2:26 is not out of the cards. My theoretical best is in the 2:28s.

Till next time. I believe my next event will be BMW in Nov - 3 days :evil grin:

I can post video later if people are interested. Have lots of good footage of all the super trofeo lambos and mclarens giving way to the mighty gt4!

Very nice consistency in the late afternoon laps. Bravo!

Wish it was! Bob Varela owner of Foreign Affairs in his modified GT4. My best time at Sebring so far has been a 2:26 on r7's.

2:29 is nuts on street tires in the conditions this past weekend. That's why I call josh insane (in a good way). I bet you can't wait for the weather to cool down (will be faster for sure and lower that time).

I think Steve (red gt4) and I will be at Tws with chin in October. Come out if you can. Tws is always fun. The only downside is it's an aggie football weekend so hotels are probably gone. I will be towing to that event and will just drive back to Houston Saturday night to sleep. I can give you a ride to and from if you do want to come out.

Thanks Mr. LEE! that 337 is my number whenever you're not at the same event

We definitely need to coordinate some events with the rest of the reenlist crew!

Good to see everyone at the track. I know several other GT4 owners were running very similar (or slightly faster) times as a few were out there with me. I think sub-2:30 laps are very feasible for me in better conditions (or if I can make some big improvement in skills, i.e., Shake&Bake, MyBailey, etc.). Unfortunately, my event got cut short because my tires were done and I wasn't prepared with another set but sure was fun being out there. I feel for those who had mishaps at the Chin event and hope everyone made it home safe.

Ahh john I wish I knew you needed tires. I had a fresh set of stock wheels/dunlops with zero miles I could have let you use.

Ran a 2:01.4 at Thunderhill this weekend on 265/285 RE71Rs.

Hoping to get into the 1:56s at Bunttonwillow later on this month.

That is a very good time on that track. I am thinking this 265/285 is the setup for this car. Did you do run this on your e88's?

, but I can't have a socal guy at the top of the leaderboard for a norcal track, even if it is trojan!!

I was waiting to do a better time, but here it is. First day out in the car, so it's on OEM wheels and OEM cup2 tires.

Thunderhill cyclone configuration. 2:01.2 LOL

Yeah, I had them on my 19" E88s. Car felt very good and balanced. I ran with full soft front and full stiff rear and didn't get much of understeer at all.

I was running 2:03-2:04 on Friday with HOD and then I watched your video Friday night like 5-6 times to get some ideas of where I can improve my times. The 2:01.4 was my best lap, 2:00.7 was my best continual lap, and my theoretical best was 1:58.7 so I need to work on my consistency. I need bigger ***** on turn 1, 8, and 9 as well as not Fing up turn 14.

You'll run a better time with RE71Rs than the Cup2s and 19s.

Check your PM, let's exchange Solo DL files. I want to see how we compare through all of the turns.

You should come down to Buttonwillow in Nov for Matt's private days and PCA SDR right after that. We could do a lot of dicing.
