Best Track Times in a GT4

Here's an update from two track days last week at NJMP's Thunderbolt, with a new personal best of 1:35.65, a few tenths faster than the day before. It was my second day with the GT4 on the track and that day I had the extra weight of an instructor, unlike the previous day.
Been thinking a lot about how to improve the times and I'll try to post video elsewhere so some experienced eyes can add insight. I'm guessing I am over slowing turn one, still trying to figure out T5, and over slowing T6 and T8 (among other things, of course).
Measuring performance in tenths and hundredths of seconds harkens back to my youth as a competitive ski racer, which is very cool. Can't tell you for how many races the outcome was measured by mere blinks of an eye.

I improved my time At Watkins Glen. Same specs as last submission. Calculated gear is off again, the real gear is one less then shown.

Sorry I missed your post previously. My 2.49:01 was in a totally stock car with Cup 2 tyres (including an error into bus stop chicane)...so I guess I personally can 2.48 on an ideal lap. Must admit I am then probably running out of talent/tuition before I can go quicker.
So, allowing for a better amateur/tracker driver I guess 2.46/2.47 could be possible. I am guessing anything quicker is requiring a vv good/pro driver. There is a 2.44 lap out there on YouTube but little info on driver or mods to car - I typically find the very fastest laps usually include additional prep to the car. Difficult to see stock car quicker than this but would love to be proved wrong!
I have since then done the typical geo mods - shims to front, toe rods at rear, to allow 2.5/2.0 camber geo but have found this to be no quicker (in fact slightly slower) so really not sure whether geo needs more work or what.

Hey Joe, new best time with traffic - very nice! What tires? Any more mods?

Yes, 2:12.90. Same RE71 tires as last time but the fast lap was on the 26th HC. Suspension stock except toe links to get track alignment. Bars full stiff.

Sonoma looks pretty... and difficult. Pretty difficult I guess.

Update on my best COTA lap: 231.48 on 09/03/2016 with Chin. Same everything, including the exact same Hoosier tires which actually corded on my next session and had something over 30 heat cycles.
Good to see everyone at the track. I know several other GT4 owners were running very similar (or slightly faster) times as a few were out there with me. I think sub-2:30 laps are very feasible for me in better conditions (or if I can make some big improvement in skills, i.e., Shake&Bake, MyBailey, etc.). Unfortunately, my event got cut short because my tires were done and I wasn't prepared with another set but sure was fun being out there. I feel for those who had mishaps at the Chin event and hope everyone made it home safe.

I really enjoyed that video - wow, the was really quick and intense. If anyone were going to run Sebring in a GT4 for the first time, this video could be a great reference. Pretty amazing driving.
