Best Track Times in a GT4

Watkins Glen, 2:10.2
Stock Power
Stock 245/295 N1 Cup2's
Tarrett camber plates/rear toe links
DS1.11/Girodiscs
Got only a couple of clean laps all weekend, this was the best. I lost some time at the chute/T6 as I was being extra cautious behind the GT3, didn't want to be right on him at the apex with nowhere to go and ended up having to lift. Room for improvement but still happy with it.

I wish you had some data overlays on that video. I like the way you went through the toe of the boot, around and up the hill. Looked fast, but how fast?? I'm about 1 second behind you for my PB in the mid 2:11s - looking for opportunities...

Feels like there are a few different ways to take that corner, I am hugging very tight and trying to rotate the car with the brakes to get on full throttle as early as possible at the apex. By contrast this guy puts down some very fast laps indeed, you can see he takes a slightly wider line and uses more of the hill whilst turning into the apex later. More distance but higher minimum speed. If you compare side by side he is shifting to 4th a second or so before me, not exactly apples to apples though given a 265 Hoosier has a lot more front end grip than a 245 Cup2. Not sure if he posts on this forum but he puts down consistently good laps, I have learned a few things by watching them.

I'm running rear toe links so I can get more aggressive camber in the rear. I have read a lot of complaints about the rear being squirrelly under heavy braking etc. and from experience it definitely is. But in stock form it didn't really bother me that much. You can see into T1 under threshold braking I am still getting a bit of shimmy. I see people changing the rear toe links on a street only car which makes no sense IMO, its great out of the box.
