IMHO street ride goes from great stock to acceptable with the spring upgrade. The ride quality difference is noticeable when the pavement gets rough, on decent roads you won't notice it much.

Street ride is definitely stiffer, but not bad.
I have 2 days on my 19" and 20" Re71r and while the edge wear is a touch better, I still decided to flip the tires on the wheels to even out the wear. Given that I had to do the same with the stock springs, I'm not sure there is truly a benefit with the stiffer springs. My lap times have gotten faster, but I think that is from improving my driving technique. I might be able to credit some time improvement at sonoma at t9 because of less lean allowing me to stay on the power through the turn longer. Difficult to say for sure.

How many extra days do you get in exchange for he trouble and cost of a full tire set dismount / remount? If only 1 day, that seems like a tough call.

I think you can get one. Possibly 2. Will find out and let you know. It is a pain to have to do. It costs me $120 to do the flip, there is money saved even with one day.

Double apex is definitely faster. Deep trail brake into first one.

Small update:

I have 10 days on my OEM rotors. The fronts are still ok, and they still look like they may have 3-4 days left. Rather than destroy them completely, I removed them to save as a spare or for when the car will be sold. After 10 days, the rotors roughly weighed 23.5lb.

I swapped to AP rotors in the front and left the rear OEM since the rear rotors still look new. I've had good success with the AP rotors on the GT3. I believe these rotors will last around 40 track days. On the GT3, I had 30 track days on them before I prematurely destroyed them by running a set of pads into the backing plate. The rotors still looked great on the GT3 after 30 days running DS1.11 pads.

The AP rotors weighed in at 25.0 lb brand new:

While the Ferodo DS1.11 have been the best pads I've run so far on a Porsche, I've have yet to find pad that gave me good consistent bite every time like the raybestos ST43 pads I used to use on my old Evo X. I decided to try out a set of endless ME20 pads this time around. 4 days so far. No tapering. No drop in performance. Plenty of pad left. More consistent and slightly better bite than DS1.11. So far so good.

Amazing that the AP's can go more than 30 track days!!!

Endless ME20's are a good pad for street and track. Wear does increase a bit once you go past the thickness of the backing plate.

I just tried the Raybestos and after a few days, the pads feel like marshmallows. I will be going back to Endless soon.

I've got the Girodisc rotors and ME20 pads on all corners now and can't imagine a better setup. I was running the OEM rotors in the rear for the same reasons as you Joe and I just made the swap.

Damn those ME20 are pricey! +30% over the DS1.11.

Just as a point of reference am running Pagid RS29's on OEM rotors, have ran them quiet hard with no noticable fade nor any other con's

I might go with either a more aggressive pad in the rear or something less aggressive in the front to better balance out the brake bias (need more rear brake bias).

Sold it years ago. Got tired of chasing my tail

Tranny overheat
Tranny cooler
Still overheat

Coolant over heat
larger radiator
large oil cooler
still overheat

Fuel surge
surge tank
fuel pump overheat

Fun car, but couldn't take hard track use. I would always have to pack it up 1/2 way through the day because temps wouldn't stay in control even in 70degree temps.
