Nice work.

For us OCD people, what did the trim weigh? Is it quieter with the trim?

Glad you're keeping busy while not at Thill, I took a drive today, but wish I was up there.

Good question. The plastic trim weighs nothing, but the carpet is fairly heavy. I should have weighed it, but I would guess it is around 15-20 pounds. I must be getting old because the noise was driving me nuts without the carpet, so I had to put it back in.

No, when you get old you don't hear it. You can buy cheap audio equipment too!

I agree about the stock radio. I feel like Porsche said give them leftovers from 2000 if they choose not to upgrade the audio. Lol. All the more reason to keep it off. Plus we all enjoy hearing every rock/ pebble picked up and thrown around in the wheel well.

I believe you need the radio for Bluetooth phone, otherwise I would have done radio delete!

Porsche is somewhat silly in this respect. They should have made the burmeister and full Bose options. I mean it's not like I'm going to win the race if I don't have a nice stereo. No high end stereo in the CS makes sense. They can also keep the delete option for people that trailer their cars and such.

It helps with the long drives to and from the track on the freeway which are boring. I have to turn up podcasts and music painfully loud to hear anything.

I have the sound plus option on the GT3 (gets you pcm for free on that car), and that system is acceptable to me.

Amen to that. The ventilated seats in my 2010 CS are a godsend for Texas track days. Wish my GT4 could have had them available.
