Wow!! Did you have to clean your shorts? Glad you saved it.

How did that happen? I almost rotated a few times out of T2 with cold tires. Didn't have a problem at 10 then again I'm always at "Grandma" speed.

Yeah, that's a pucker braking zone indeed. Are you running stock alignment? Looked like a bit of rear end wiggle from going toe-out in the rear under hard braking.

My car is stock, with middle bar settings and a mild streetable 1.8/1.3 alignment. I have no reference for their relative grip, but I found the stability & predictability to be quiet good. I ran them at 35 psi max, and this was where my most consistent times were found... an entire string of 2:37.xx laps (with a passenger) all within half a second of each other. They got greasy over 35 psi.
You know I'm thinking either I lifted too abruptly or turned in to sharply.. one thing the spotters were saying is that I ran to wide coming off of turn 8/8a, so I think I tried to make up for it by coming in tighter.. and I think too much steering input hurt it. I started tightening the line the rest of the day and I didn't have that problem again.

Yeah I just wanted to get an idea of what the car is like stock. Will be going back to get more track adjustments made.

I've only run dunlops on the gt3, but I really liked how they felt compared to cup2. The problem was they lasted only 2 track days. I ran higher pressures than the cup2, but there is some debate as to whether or not that is the proper thing to do.
Interestingly in the 675LT Turn 9/10 is handled well - I think the massive aero helps keep it stable at the higher speeds. But in the miata and the GT4, I noticed you have to be more careful like you said. Do you leave stability on? Or just Traction?

My favorite tires are still the Trofeo Rs on my LT. Don't know if they're even an option for our cars.

I ran 30/34 f/r for first 2 sessions.. dropped to 30 all around for last session and it was worse for some reason.

LOL.. I could only think of that wall and how I wished I had a 6 point and my HANS on. See posts above for what I think happened.

Small request Joe: When you get your swift springs installed, could you measure the free length of the rear helper and put a few copies of the physician's desk reference on top of it until it compresses a half inch? (should be less than 30 pounds) I wonder what the stock helper rate and length are...

Lol. I think I've seen one before in med school. You can insert a lot of orthopod jokes at this point.

Keith, you just need me to stack a 30# weight on the spring and measure the height?
