Joe - I agree on race render and dashware has now become a junk software. I have used both mac version and windows version. Windows version works better/faster from my experience.

t9 - i over brake every single time. very tricky turn due to blind crest

damn u are fast on those street tires!!!!

Sorry this is not a gt4 video - i will have videos of some fellow RL's that I chased around.

Took the car to Laguna seca today. Awesome day with some great friends.
The GT4 shined today. I'll put together video and more comments, but for now I'll say that the re71r are the most consistent tire I've ever driven. They are the first tire I've ever used that does not slow down after 5 straight hard laps.

It's awesome to hear your impressions on the RE71R tire. Have you used this tire in the wet on track or in the rain on normal street driving? If so, would you say the grip is very good in the wet as well?

Yeah I'm still a long ways off from pobst's best time. My theoretical best was 1:38.4, so maybe I can do that if I'm lucky. I highly doubt I'll ever get into 1:37. Pobst is incredible. He humbles all of us that drive at Mrls.

No wet experience, so I can't say. On the street the tires do make more noise than the cup2

Awesome Joe! I got into the 1:30s once as well and then I woke up!

Are you going to post up some video?

Lol! Yes, plenty of video and data coming. The GT3 had worn tires, but on this day the GT4 was 0.1 seconds faster.

So joe, what is the delta between your old Spyder and the gt4 at Laguna? I did a 1:44 in my white cs.2 last time there may 2nd, on nt01s. That was good for me, I'm pretty sure. I don't usually time myself much.

Thanks. So only a couple seconds delta. Seems like it should be more, considering the gt4 specs....?
