I would prefer a bit more bite so I may get some new pads for next track date.
Keep in mind that the biggest factor in 'stopping power' is grip, which is mostly a function of tires, and possibly also aero. Alignment and the suspension's management of load transfer also affect the grip.

Key goals with brakes are heat dissipation, heat tolerance, and 'feel' (relationship between pedal pressure and brake friction, and how well the pedal communicates that). Just about all brakes can generate enough friction to lock up the wheels and flat spot the tires if there's no ABS intervention or fade.

Good point
I just didn't like the pedal feel that I'm accustom to. The brakes and tire combo actually slowed me down just fine.
I'm think of going RE71R next

Hi Joe, I was wondering if you ever solved the following

I know that it's better for front grip if you effectively increase the front track by adding shims for camber, however, I wonder if a combination of fewer shims + camber plates would bring the upright closer to the center of the car and change the geometry enough help with the front tie rods hitting the upright.

No, I just lived with it. I don't know if camber has anything to do with the problem or not. If anything, I might have to add more camber to my setup

Just FYI, I'm ordering a set of Tarett goodies very similar to your setup. I just learned that apparently there is a revised tie rod now specifically for the GT4 and 991 GT3 that won't touch.

Looking forward to meeting you at the track sometime, your research has been very helpful with my setup!

Nice. Too bad it's typical that the first customers that buy them end up doing the R&D for the manufacturer....

Come to my private track day! I'll PM you
