***NOTE on OZ 19" FRONT wheels. Very little clearance from the caliper if you place the wheel weights on the outer edge of the barrel.
HOWEVER, if you place the weights on the inner edge of the barrel, once you load the car and start driving, you will hear a clicking sound. That is because the brake duct is hitting the wheel weights.
***You will need to trim the front brake ducts in order to make these wheels work. Not a big deal, but be aware

Ready for next weekend.

Joe,
I am looking for some Foster Parents. I was hoping you would consider adopting me. I keep my room clean, do my dishes, and do not make much noise. I can keep you seeing clearly so you drive faster and pick better lines. I am also willing to double as a garage assistant. If interested let me know!
Jim
P.S. I can also contribute to the garage stable!

it often leads to weights on both edge of inside barrel and at 19" it's likely the wheel wt gets knocked off by the caliper if a piece of rubber off yoru tire gets wedged in there.

Hoosiers ..... This weekend at WGI I saw a gentleman from Canada who was running a yellow GT4 with Hoosiers on 19" in bigger sizes than I thought possible. No rubbing. He was running 265 on front and 325 on rear. He supposedly is on RL. Hopefully he chimes in with what wheels he was running and other info as I forgot to ask. He was very fast...

325 in the rear?
are you certain?
i am 265/295 hoosier on GT4
295 goes on 10.5 or 11" wheels so 325 would need 11.5 to 12" wheel. 11.5 wheels will not fit.

325 is about 2" wider than 295. That would be sweet if they could fit.

That's crazy wide. Just add a 4.0L rebuild and you're near GT4 RS material

Driver was doing 2:10 in his first outing in car. He knew track well and is a red group driver.

I am white group and first time at the glen on stock settings with cup2 tires doing 2:23

Last day and a half was not dry but not sure I could have improved beyond a 2:20 in better weather

( rain and track wetness were great for improving skill and smoothness though)

Was he in a clubsport? They have a different setup in the rear.

I would expect a GT4 to be much faster then a 2:10 at WGI. I did 2:12 with a 2007 Cayman S using good suspension and R comps.

I think it was his first session in the car on a track I didn't track his subsequent lap times and we had few dry sessions
