Ian is too shy to tell everyone but I'll spill the beans since he just texted me the info:

'Porsche Exclusive' rushed the feasibility study on it & it was finally approved yesterday!

Congratulations Ian!

By the way, has Porsche said anything about returning the shoe you sent them as a color sample to match?
I always thought you would look very cool with them on...except on the track of course!

Saludos,
Eduardo

I was too excited to hold back. It's coming too late to display at the Porsche Corral at Rennsport V Laguna Seca. But the good news is that you'll be able to show up at the 53th Anniversary of Mary Kay Inc in Dallas in 2016 without feeling out of place!

i test drove a boxster recently and had the seat heaters turned on... it was nice. I'm going to see if there is some kind of after-market heating element which can be inserted into the LWB... a convertible with warm seats is a sublime thing.

Yes it can be done. Orthojoe added it to his gt2 seats in his old spyder.

There are waiting lists, but much shorter than the GT4 because until very recently there really has been no press behind the car. It's not a limited production but will only be produced for a limited time due to the upcoming 981.2 which may limit it to a single year production time frame.

One other question…and I Googled searched this to no eval. Is the suspension the analog set up like in the first Spyder. All I can find is that its "lowered."
