Always wanted the SV.

Ah, just thinking about the first few minutes of Michael Caine's The Italian Job.

Hate the louvres on the huracan, and it'll cost you >$10k for the option to swap them for glass and some weird carbon fiber/plastic mashup

I agree and this 44 year old super car looks like it belongs in 2014. The design is timeless.

I had a set of Miura irons. Handcrafted in Japan by a former master sword artist.

Mine did as well. The few times I have deviated from that wisdom have been big mistakes.

Was reading this article on the Huracan and came across a tidbit about the 960:

"In addition to the long-running competition between Sant'Agata Bolognese and Maranello, the raging bull must fend off challengers from within the VW Group, such as the pending mid-engine Porsche 960 (now delayed until 2019) and the next Audi R8, which will, in top-of-the-line guise, feature a slightly detuned version of the very same V-10 engine the Huracán relies on."

The article could very easily be wrong though.

2019 sounds nuts.

well, the gt3 was supposed to start deliveries wound up being 2014, which now really feels like 2015, the gt3rs which was supposed to be unveiled, like, now, is probably going to be a 2015 car, or maybe even 2016, so the 960 in 2019 (with deliveries in 2018) isn't so far fetched IMO.

Don't like the way porsche is heading lately. Would love to be a fly on the wall at the board meetings when they make these decisions.

the easy money is in the low hanging fruit of their ever expanding high volume non sport car lines ...dealers love it too, as it keeps their showrooms and lucrative service operations humming along
