The one thing I did not like about it is the back of the car slopes back like Mercedes and Audi has done on their sedans(ex. - A7). I do not like that. I actually like the look of the Gallardo but some can accuse that of being too square

At twice the price of a GT3 (or $100k more than a 991TTS or Audi R8 V10), I'd certainly agree. What would justify that delta in the same VW family?

this, despite all the issues w/ the GT3 at $150k can compete w/ these "uber" cars. Give them some time. Lets see what the RS can do.
But watch out for the Corvettes!

I think I will just stick with the GT3. Been down the Ferrari road once and got that out of my system. I don't need to go back. 300K is too much for a car I can't drive year round in MN.

Back on topic; If the new RS would be Turbo (like all 911's will be, could be that the GT3 is the last hoorraa) there would no longer be a GT2(rs), straight to 960 at the same GT2RS price point.

With a 991 GT3RS around the corner I cant say i would really be excited for a 991 GT2 launch.
If Porsche launched a GT2, it would have to have RSR bodywork at this point to suck me in.

The new 960 perks my interest. Could be my first ever "super car" ownership. Looking forward to what they can bring to the table.

Although I do not know if I neccessarly want to be a first year model owner as cool as that would be...

My Father always preached when I was as a young kid that never buy a first year new model car. He also used to say always pay in cash when you buy a sports car because when you eventually wrap it around a tree you would rather collect a check than write one. Bought a 2007 Cayman S because I listened to his wisdom. But the first freakin' time I venture from that wisdom( 991 GT3) it comes right around and smacks me in the forehead. Now it just sits at the Port being used as target practice by the seagulls.

I would not do it again

Quite possibly the sexiest road car of all time (the Miura, not the Camaro).
