Porsche still doing ED, or permanently cancelled?

As far as I know it is when the car is built and ready for the final tests before delivery or shipping. It is typically the date that shows on dealer allocation sheet as build date. If you log on Porsche with your ID you can track these dates for your car order.

This is what the CP8.0 description says:
Now it must pass Checkpoint 8.0—an extensive final inspection—to ensure it is up to Porsche’s rigorous standards. At our testing facility, your vehicle will be fueled and tested on the shaking roller to check for noise development in the interior. During this test, the suspension will settle, subsequently allowing the toe and camber to be set on the underbody test bench. Meanwhile, the headlights and (optional) Adaptive Cruise Control and other assistance systems are calibrated. The exhaust gas, driving and braking behaviors are all tested on the roller dynamometer, before the vehicle is cleaned, the underbody protection is mounted, and the paint is inspected. After all tests are completed and inspections passed, your vehicle will begin its next step on its journey to you.

Do you recall when you did the ED paperwork with your dealer? That’s when you give them passport numbers, insurance and delivery preference, etc… I think they might go by that order when they schedule ed appointments. I submitted mine signed first week of February.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hello, I am new here. I placed an order for a Cayenne GTS Coupe on Apr 4th for European Delivery. This is my second Porsche but first time trying ED. My dealer said he is waiting for allocation and the delivery will be sometime in September. I am seeing some who placed order last week posted June delivery dates. Did anyone see dates move early?

Thanks. Wow, that seems to be a long wait. I am from Texas, USA. I was given November/December delivery dates for regular delivery but I choose to go with ED.

Same long wait for me too. My order submission was last Nov. My dealer had a special ED pop up in Jan (for June Production) that I snatched up. If I didn't opt for ED I'm fairly certain I wouldn't see a car in 2022.

Ok good news! My build was officially confirmed today for June 10th and I got an ED for August 30th in Leipzig! This is great since it seems that things are happening as scheduled! Looks like there will be a big party in Leipzig on the 30th...

So far I have not had to submit passport info, insurance, etc. Joey from PCNA ED department emailed me asking to select a date to lock. He did say he will be sending me paperwork and such shortly. I bet my SA will be ringing me up soon to come in and do final paperwork too.
Edit: just got paperwork emailed to me from PCNA ED dept.
