I'm game Scott, have to vacuum the dust bunnies out of the G25 and most likely do some massive iRacing updates but I can crash with the best of them! I do wish they would release the Ruf but I think I have just about every car and track (except a few ovals and Nascar cars).. I'm coming off a win in my last sprint so my i-confidence is high!
I'm partial to the MX-5 since it's almost as slow as my Boxster but I'm game for anything except the Riley DP. I can't seem to drive or set that thing up. Congrats on the win. I'm sure Sean was thrilled for you.
I'll race anything you put in front of me, but I think we should definitely do the 997 cup RUF when it's out. Hopefully it will be out by the end of the month. That's a car every rennlist-iracer should buy.

I think his comment was "You had to beat me in the POINTS race, really???"
Let's restart the Rennlist league on October 30th. I'm willing to run the league side of things unless CXC (Chas or Chris) wants to sponsor it again. We should have the RUF "Cup" car by then and we should run it every event. It is likely to be out the week prior, so we will all have time to shake it down and get used to it.
The plan is to run through all the free road courses to get everyone hooked and then slowly introduce some of the other paid tracks. If there's a pro (Patrick Long, Matt Halliday, etc.) who wants to practice for an upcoming race, we will obviously substitute in that track for the week. If you are buying groups of tracks, the likely candidates are Daytona, Sebring, Long beach, Road Atlanta, Watkins, Mosport, Indy, Road America, VIR, and COTA when it's released.
We should also use "Realistic weather" so it will be important not to set the car up on the ragged edge of one weather condition.
I think the time format worked well for most of North America.
Practice: 7:30 pm EST (4:30 PST)
Qualifying: 8:30 pm EST (5:30 PST)
Race: 9:00 pm EST (6:00 PST)

So you are saying the RUF will be out in 'two weeks"? How about NJMP?
This year they released an incomplete version of Long Beach as a "tech track". The track itself is done, but the trackside objects and buildings are incomplete and are displayed as a point cloud. I think I heard that NJMP may get released like this very soon.
I'll try to join a few of these races, sounds like fun. I would plan on starting the season with a different car though, maybe the McLaren. iRacing president Tony Gardner mentioned in a recent interview that the Ruf is currently in development but not complete - probably not going to be in the build. We hope to have it finished sometime during the season however.
