Im hoping to make it tonight, but work has been crazy here this week. I have been working on new paint for the car.
Wow sweet!
I'm working on a new one. Some of the "little" things are turning out to be a HUGE pain in the butt. Working around the "Rt12" logo on the rear, working around the doorhandles, or the air scoops in the rear fenders...
Jim FYI the location of the Rt12 logo is in the block that is in the middle of the rear window area on the scheme.
See you guys tonight, trying to get my surround sound working, picked up a card but couldn't get it to work last night, try again tonight before we start.

I know where it is. The problem is, I'm trying to paint over it with a sponsor logo... and it forces the "Rt 12" to be laid on top of everything. So you have to get creative with how you "paint" the logo itself. If I kept the rear decklid as a solid color, that's one thing (just paint the logo the same color as the decklid)... but the logo is a different color and I'm seeing the "splotch" of color where the "Rt-12" is.
Thank Julian for sharing that setup. I ran some laps last night with Tony and Chris, I was able to run many laps in the mid to high 48's with that setup where I struggled to do that before with any consistency and we were able to run side by side as well. Anyone done the math on how many gallons of fuel we'll need for tonight? Am I right thinking it will be close to 15?
Tom R
I ran on the stock iRacing LRP setup all night, I guess that's encouraging.
Good running with you.
Looks like there's gonna be a really good turnout for tonight!!! I switched to the NGT/Momo paintscheme, I think that shaved a couple seconds off of my time.
Good race guys. Shame I forgot to put fuel in the car and had to start from the pits instead of 2nd. It was fun clawing back to 3rd but then ran into trouble two turns from the checker. Next time...
Intense race. I think our league has outgrown LRP. There are just too many cars for that real estate. Daytona will be a nice change next week with wide open fields for us to spin into.
Thanks for being easy on the new guys who are still learning about blue flags and rejoining the track. We all started somewhere.
I think if we run Lime Rock again we'll have to split it into 2 sessions. Do a practice/qualify to get the order, then split the field at the midfield of qualifying and create 2 race only sessions.
Just got home from work. Sounds like I missed a fun race. Cant wait for next week. I should make it, but when you work in legislature you never look too far out during session
Race was good, but practice and qualifying just too many cars. I'm a mid pack guy and take the first lap easy due to cold tires and the pit exit is just bad. There was never a good time to try and get out without screwing someones lap. But the race was much better, at times it seemed like I was out there by myself. Being constant and clean I placed better than I thought, just had one off.
If you don't have a headset, get one, that worked out great for letting the faster guys by.
