I'm going to practice more tonight, but if I can't keep on the track I might not race on Wednesday. I'll just be a hazard the way I'm driving.

I think I need to tweak the settings for my wheel some more and the FFB settings in the iracing menus.

Keep at it. You'll find that sweet spot in your setup. As always consistancy is key and you are stepping into a bit of a learning curve with these cars. I would stick with the fixed setups for the MP4 because you will find that the setups in the forums will be off a bit because of the weight.

Agreed - just keep at it. And do join... even if you're not as fast as the front runners. There's no replacement for experience and seat time. At least when you jump in with us (vs. jumping into an "official" race)... nobody is competing for points, rating or SR. If you take somebody out it's not a big deal.

Thanks for the tip! I switched to the Kansas setup, lowered the in game force feedback from 12 to 10, reconfigured my wheel, and turned off brake/accel assits. I was able to keep all 4 wheels on the track for consecutive laps.

After dinner I'm going to run some more laps and see if the tweaks help with the mazda cup as well.

Go for it. We can both be back markers and have our own race.

Hello all! I got my wheel today and got a couple of hours practice in. I started out in the Ford GT and that was too much of a handful for a rookie. The Mclaren is much easier to learn on.

I am in for tomorrow night.

Yes, you need to own the McClaren and Ford GT I believe... along with the track they are running.

I'm pretty sure you just need the car you are driving now. I think they fixed that bug. Also need the track obviously, but we've been doing the free tracks.

The session is all set up and ready to go. Sean also has admin if anything goes wrong. I have a PCA meeting so it is unlikely that I will make it tonight. I will be back next week at Okayama.
