Hello Peter,
My friend had brake pressure on 2015 Cayman S with PDK. He confirmed earlier in the thread with handle 9972rs.

I wonder when that was implemented in RS2 release history? That's great!

As of last weekend, brake pressure on my friends 2015 Cayman S PDK wasn't available with an OBD II connection. I went through the data, configuration, channels, etc.

Yes, that has been my experience. No brake pressure off OBDII (didn't think the ABS bus is on that line?).
But the best thing to do is to download the latest RS release and build a new config for that application. Transmit and test.
Just because it's not listed in the release notes doesn't mean that there have not been PID's added to add functionality.

Any update to grabbing brake pressure off of OBDII in a 981? I have a Solo DL, and am about to take delivery of a 981 CS... I'd prefer OBDII, but will find a shop to do the CAN install if required for full functionality...
Also, anyone know of a good shop for this in Chicagoland?

No, no OBDII. There is a new CAN template if you have the PMNA gateway installed in the car.

Strange, I'm not sure why folks are having difficulty with this. I've always been able to get brake pressure from my 981S OBDII connection. For the last two years, I've had my GT3 wired through the CAN bus but after it caught on fire I had to bring my 981 Cayman S out of retirement and it was simpler to just use the OBDII port. I actually thought something might have changed for the better, because the latency for brake and throttle seemed to go down. Here is a recent video. I'm using the BRAKE_PRESS channel from the 991_981OBDII protocol.
and here is an older video from 2014 when Randy Pobst was driving the car.
I was trying three options at that point - Harry's, VBOX and Solo DL! Settled on the Solo DL. No regrets.

Interesting. Did a lot of tests and no brake pressure on a variety of 981 cars at the dealer late last year.

Interesting. I did a CAN install at VIR (BR_PRESS_4) in a manual GT4 because he couldn't get it over OBDII in September, but all the cars I tested at the Porsche dealership were PDK and had no brake pressure coming through OBDII. I wonder what has changed?

Just wondering if there have been any recent updates on this?
I have just put my Aim SoloDL & Smartycam in my new to me GT4 from my 991 GT3 and appear to have gears correct (after calibration), wheel speed sensors and brake pressure. This is all using OBDII.
I will need to test this at the track this weekend to make sure. The overlay did not show the brake bar moving much at all as it was calibrated for a max of 80 bar (as I used it ion the GT3). However the trace on RS2/3 showed on teh street I was getting up to 12 bar pressure on the brake channel so I have re calibrated the overlay for a max of 30 bar to see if it will start showing properly on the video. Regardless its coming through on the trace....
Interested to know how others are going.

Good news. PDK cars work then.
