They still make and sell the Solo DL. It is a current offering from AiM with no pending update.
M-World makes a nice harness for many of their installs for ~$110 (last one I bought for a 135i, anyway). Jerry and I can offer this too, however I do like a simple splice...

I want to thank Arthur Hall for allowing me to use his car to test, install a Solo DL CAN connection with switched power and document the process for an install guide. Many good things learned and it's easier than a 987.2 or 991!

Fuuny how much progress we have made in one year! I'm now looking for a solution for my GT4 as well.
I'm gonna help orthojoe with his can install next week. Hopefully we can sort out all the problems before I install miine!

Please keep us posted on your experience and if possible, share your install notes. Many of us are still waiting to see how the install goes on the GT4 before jumping in on a solution...and some are waiting to see what VBOX comes up with in "early 2016". Thanks to you and OrthoJoe for jumping in on this topic!
