My car is going away (divorce). Took parts off it last night. Not much, but if anyone wants / needs things I have the following for a 981 S / GTS. I don't know if these parts fit any other Porsche models.

Rennline front and rear tie down hooks + rear subframe brace
Fabspeed rear jack point
Rennline front tow hook w/ GoPro mount
Pagid RSL29 track pads (probably 1/3 life remaining)
Schnell Motorsport titanium shims for the brake pads (front and rear)
19" HRE FF01's in bronze with half-dead Bridgestone RE-71R's...235 / 265 OE size tires (3 track days and 3k miles)

Hope to join up with you guys at another event. For what it's worth, we will be at Nelson Ledges for the 944Fest 8/2-4. This will be the first time since 2005, that we will not be taking a 944. I guess we're all grown up now...

I'll be sure to post dates of our next RallyCross that will be held at our farm (September). You're all invited to stop out; and maybe stick around for beverages after the event. Then there is my Road Rally (Son of Sno*Drift) which is run the second Saturday in January. I select some of the best roads in the same area you guys were (though most of mine are unpaved).

Here's a shot of the last 911 I was fortunate enough to RallyCross - taken at our farm, December 2013:

I did layout the course for the May event in Speedy.
Yes we did, put a few pictures above. Looking forward to attending one of your events this year!

I certainly hope to be back into a fun car in the near future. Cayman is going away just because of the equity I have in it. Pending readout of the over-rev counters the dealership has offered me $62k. I owe $27k and change on the loan. The extra money will go a long way toward making sure my finances and monthly budgeting are safe and acceptable after the split. Using some (hopefully) exaggerated budgeting numbers I should have enough spare income each month to start banking for a next purchase. I have to admit, though, that the new Corvette is looking pretty fantastic. Mid-engine like the Cayman for handling, but an extra 150hp isn't bad!

Would really love a GT3 though. Wouldn't spring for an RS. Same reason I didn't go for a GT4. Not designed for street use and I'm not going to spend that much money and finance something that is track toy first and street car second. It needs to be comfy to drive around town and then capable at the track. I really doubt it, but maybe 991.2 GT3 prices will come down in the next 2-3 years and I can pick up a used one.

Thanks. Will be taking your advice on the home equity loan to get a little extra money to deal with the house and buying my wife out of her portion of the gained equity. Instead of using $27k of it to pay off and keep the Porsche I think I'll roll it back into the house. It's needed a new bathroom, new kitchen, and new flooring since we bought it 7 years ago. I bought the Porsche instead of remodeling the house.

Randy - I saw the pics and read the words. I knew some of you guys made the trip. Sharks to Hell used to be held about 1/2 mile further west from where you guys started. My wife and I attended a couple of years ago. All good folks (even though they drive 928s).

Scooby - sorry to hear of your real world issue. Hope it all works out for you. I went through a similar situation a little over ten years ago. Got to keep all my toys (not surprising, considering their value... )

And - how do you know Paul Eddleston? You noted he was in France, in an earlier post. I assume he would be there for some silly bicycle race?

Bringing up Paul sent me down a rabbit hole. Found this when I got part way in....

I know Paul from when he had and autocrossed the Outback...when he first created Team Illuminata. Used to talk to him regularly at autocrosses. More recently it's been running into him occasionally at Cars & Coffee events.

And from autocross stuff...did you have and autocross an old Dodge Colt on occasion?

Ahhhh, guilty. From 1994 to about 2010. I think my last run with it was at Waterford Hills for the CCM time trial. We bought the farm* and haven't had time to autocross since. Priorities. Maybe when I retire, I'll start running it again. It's such a fun little car...

* I always have to laugh when I type that.

Ok, so we've met. Used to drive the gray Subaru WRX with the bright blue wheels in STX (2006 to 2010 when I sold the car).
