It looks cheap, and to charge this much for the car and not include it is embarrassingly ridiculous. I have the 19 turbo, and getting the bottom painted came with. I think the rear of the 24 looks more like a van, crappy plastic bottom, and low handle is sad. Front? Winning. I will not be buying the new model. Keeping mine. And if I replace it, it will not be a 24, but another manufacturer. I don't see how their test marketing ended up with this rear design.

I can understand why perhaps our European cousins may be less bothered by this than some of us on the west side of the pond, after seeing various posted photos in this thread.
It appears that the cut out was esthetically sized for a European sized license plate, which covers up most of that cheap looking plastic in the cut out and arguably seems to align with the lower lines.
Sidenote to Rennlist: just tried uploading image first time after updating to iOS 17 and no longer works?
Our US plates are noticeably narrower and taller thus emphasizing that plastic surface much more, and exacerbating that perception of “cheapness”
(sorry, new ios17 won’t let me grab pics from my screenshot albums in Rennlist at this time)

In you take The Front Bumper from Sport pack only, Almost everything is painted
Check The configurator, Best With light colour to See difference at rear and The side below The doors. Like Posted above.
also means, the mid Part can be ordered and changed.

Drive it fast and let others see your rear bumper.
Porsche spent their time and money on the engine, driving characteristics, and transmission.
My '22TGT is white with the black rear and wheelguards. I did not like it at first, but after 6 months it became beautiful and makes me smile every day !

Ordered mine with the SportDesign Front Facia for this reason only. My wife was about to pull the plug on this order until we found this option.

I ordered the full SPD on my midnight blue and there is a white front facia nearby and the front facia frankly does the job really well. The only thing is there is still some plastic on the rear and the front grill is plastic (on the .1)
High Gloss Black is becoming a fad but it does add a bit of elegance.. Worth the premium? Probably not, I rather have put the money on the roofliner.

I am actually not bothered by that rear skirt. And that is not because I have it. But maybe because I have my Cayenne in Chromite Black and it doesn't draw attention. I was also a bit worried about it, but in reality, I don't notice the rear skirt being ugly in any way. It's technical. Thus, it cannot be ugly.
