2024 Ugly Rear Skirt
I mentioned this in another thread but snapped this picture today that I think illustrates what I’m saying about the new rear skirt design looking cheap.
It looks cheap the way they cut into the painted rear bumper with the matte black plastic. It almost looks like a piece in the center broke off or was forgotten by the factory.
I also don’t love having to reach down so far to reach the rear door button.
Just my opinion: the 9Y0 design on my 2019 looks and works better.
Is there an option I could have checked off to avoid this?

The sport design package is the only way to get it painted. That’s the reason I ordered mine with it. Agree with you, going all the way up to the license plate just looks odd especially on a vehicle at this price point. Seems like something you would see on a Honda or something.

+1 for the sport design package.
I'm pretty sure you can have it painted though. Or if you wait a little you can buy the sport design rear fascia.
I personally thought I'd hate it more. It doesn't bother me all that much when I saw it in person.

Less paint (e.g. on the .2 rear fascia) = less cost.
Another obvious corner-cutting measure by Porsche on the .2. Agree that .2 front + .1 rear would be a nice combination.
