Napa Trip (400 miles + round trip) - Achievement completed! no CELs the entire weekend - really really love the car - if Porsche would fix the CEL vs. charging problem car would be nearly perfect - I'm hoping for a software fix for the CEL before the end of the calendar year if not sooner - I hope I'm right.

CEL code
I’m getting the CEL code also on my 2021 e-hybrid. Took it in once to verify the issue was the software. However I have no problem charging and using the hybrid battery repeatedly going forward …I was told maybe it’s bc of my “premium” charger? I have a Clipper Creek Plug-in Level 2 charging station, 240V, NEMA 6-50.
I’ve had two different dealers try to reset it during this time, but I’m not going to worry about it until I hear anything else definitive.

So is this related to 7.2kw onboard charger or has happened on 3.6kw too?

Quick update: I didn't get the actual code info, but I did show my SA the code from this thread and that it needed to be forwarded to PCNA if it is the same code, as they are aware of the issue. I was told that it was indeed sent to PCNA and that I will probably see the CEL again until a software fix is available. So mostly a confirmation that it is the same issue, but need to request my service paperwork to confirm. Side note: The E Hybrids don't like oil changes, they mess with the normal diagnostic tool they use as they rev too high with the engine on (Sport mode). It meant that they did not fill my oil properly and had to return the next day for them to correct. There was enough oil so as not to cause engine damage, but I was not pleased (to say the least). Getting the "Add 1 qt of oil" message on the way home was pretty stressful. It has been handled properly and I was told the fix is they need to manually check the oil level with a dipstick on all E Hybrid models (2 minute engine run, check, wait 3 minutes, check, 2 minute engine run, check again). Make sure when taking your vehicles in that they do this, need to remove engine cover to properly check.

grrr - I’ve not charged the vehicle driven 1155 miles - CEL showed up after a fueling stop - U0122 and U0141 (new code for fun) - fun fun fun continues. Code provided to local service for diagnosis - I’ll update when I know more.

How prevalent is this CEL issue for e-hybrids? It specific to Turbo S or also occurs in e-hybrids? One would think they would have done a recall if this was a broad issue for most cars.

bouncing around during a 1300 mile drive - eMode, eCharge, Auto-Hybrid - nothing too pecular - came on right after stopping (after 2 hours of driving for a gasoline fill up) - finished refueling - got in - turned on ignition - boom - CEL - drove it a little further - stopped for brunch - 50 min stop - came out - codes had self cleared!
sheeesh - this is a high end product - but throws CEL’s like a 20 year honda that’s never had an oil change.

I have a '21 eHybrid and have experienced the same problem. CEL has come on and disappeared twice already and I only have 1200 miles on the clock. Seems to go away after a new charge but that just might be a coincidence. Haven't taken it to the dealer yet.

Track Day
My dealer has ghosted me - after several emails about my CEL on the 30 day old Ehybrid it seems they no longer want to reply? Not as bad as Tesla service, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed in my first Porsche experience (the delivery was painfully long and a bit shady). Guess I need to just drive in and have them keep the car for a while to get into the system while we all wait for a fix.
