I swapped my tail lights and had the inner trim off. Here is a photo of my module.

Same. I tried them all and in different sequence. There are some things that did work and as I was changing things it seemed to progress until I was at a dead end again. I actually changed all modules to EU at one point.

I realized that the modules are either 107 A or B. Teuareg is C. I'm actually wanting to get a backup of someone's module who has 2014 and the interrior button works, then restore that into my module. Anyone want to share?

Like a new firmware? Can that be done?

Not sure, but I definitely know what you can backup configuration and restore it, or at least it seems that way. I was thinking if the full unit backs up, then restores fully, maybe it will overwrite ability to change things that aren't currently allowed.

I have a 2016 Cayenne built in Germany and even with us you cannot close the rear luggage door by pressing and holding the button on the driver's side door, certainly for a safety discourse.

Backup feature on the x431 doesn't work. It kicks me back to the main screen. I wrote about this in post #1

You confirm it works for you?

I would assume "coding 101" would check version numbers and prevent reloading an older version. For those who simply think "let's rename it" the version number should be embedded in the code. At least that's how I would do it.

This is the default code for the rear lid module on my '14. I'm curious what the older models say.

Do you already have close rear lid from driver’s seat or you just trying to code that?

On '14+, you can hold the driver door switch button and it will close.

I have a 2013, I will see if I enter your code, it would code rear lid close from Driver’s seat

If you do, make sure you get a screenshot of what your current code is.

I looked, but I couldn't even find the page to screen shot. How did you get there?

It has been a while. I believe it's under control unit replacement in rear lid module.
