I guess what I'm asking is would the x431 recognize there is a new module and direct you to initialize it?

That I'm not sure. All those options are simple yes/no selections so maybe the user just goes through and check off what's available.

I found the settings you listed to change the buttons but got a 'write code failed' error when I tried to change the setting. All of them were the same except the one-touch closing was set to 'no'. Mine has the one-touch opening set to 'yes' but I have to hold the door button down to open the rear lid. I wonder if there is another setting somewhere else that needs to be set first.

I was able to enable the teardrop feature. That is nice to have.

Same. I tried to change last night and got the same write code error. Not sure if it's not writable or software bug. See my images above.

9000RPM: are you able to alter the TMPS settings? I'd love an off-road setting so I can run a low pressure without having TMPS warnings.

I have a PIWIS2 v14 and interestingly, the hidden coding features you have accessed and altered, are not accessible with my system.

I'll take a look tomorrow. You mean you want the threshold for the tire pressure warning to be lower? Like no warning until 25PSI?

Thanks for responding. BEST case would be to add a selection. Currently there's Summer, All Season and Winter. It'd be super cool to add Off Road and then specify the target pressures.

got my x431 v+ in yesterday evening and spent some time playing with it today. definitely feels like this thing can do most of what PIWIS can do - it is VERY capable. didn't take long to figure out the menu structures and make some changes:

my SEH was optioned a little strange - lots of $$ options (sportdesign pack, surroundview, sport chrono) but does not have the premium pack so I did not have power steering plus. I know some folks pester the dealer to get them to turn it off, but I wanted to do the opposite and give it a try.

dug into the electric power steering module and found the two maps (A is PS+ enabled, B is disabled) in "coding values":

Appears it's possible to remap the hybrid power gauge in the cluster as well:

The x431 can also address the hybrid external noise generator, though I haven't quite figured out the way to disable the speaker (for true stealth operation)

Also, most importantly to me, I can now run the factory hybrid clutch bleed and adaptation routines to keep the seperating clutch happy:

I really love this thing so far and can't wait to play with it more. I have access to a few GT cars and a 718 S and will see what else is possible for other p-cars.

Not much in the tpms module.

also appears you can enable the aux pre-heat/cool option in the instrument cluster (I was quoted $2k by my dealer to have this function enabled.) just tested it and I was able to schedule pre-cooling for lunch this afternoon - in-car temp was a nice 70* (ambient about 80*). if all this tool did was enable this feature it's already paid for itself . I wonder if it's possible to enable in a non-hybrid ICE cayenne?

sure thing. i found it in instrument cluster:

> Board computer menu configuration

> Board computer menu configuration_1

> Climate timer set to Active

You'll find the options in Vehicle Menu:

I tested both functions today:
if you tick the checkbox for maintain temp the car will keep the interior the same temp for 10 minutes after you shut off the ignition.
you can also set either single or recurring schedules for precooling/heating. this will keep the car cool/warm for 10 mins after the timer activates.

One note: the car will not allow this function to be set if the lithium battery is below 20% so this leads me to believe this will only work on the SEH.
