43 marcus - i was going to hardwire a switch to close the rear hatch - then i found the alie express module to do that instead - the 2 inoperable buttons that are the 3rd buttons on your console can be turned into operable momentary switches - if you are interested i'll look up the pics i took while doing this - you would still need a relay or something to make that momentary contact a permanent on-off for your lights - that i don't know how to do

This trip was 20 hours of total duration- left at 3:26am, arrived at 11:26pm! Amazing I was not even the least bit sore from sitting that long! Love the Cayenne for long trips!

The Cayenne is just great for long trips which is a lot of what I use mine for. Trip from Scotland back to home a couple of weeks back:

It is indeed a 2012 model year diesel Tier/Euro 5 245hp, and yes UK gallons.

I'm interested in a how to on this. Been contemplating doing the same on my CD, but haven't seen any info online about someone successfully doing this yet.

if you’re talking about hatch close button, holding the hatch open button shuts the hatch in my 2014 CD. Some years this doesn’t work, but yours should.
