What did you do to your 958 today?

I am on the lookout for sure. But it's the one thing I've not seen any related codes for. I did have bank 1 valve lift control final stage. Interestingly I disconnected the sensor front left under the valve cover
and drove it mildly for a couple days. It maintained a check engine but the reduced power warning went away and never came back.

It would be interesting to see if you ever get any shavings from your front differential since there is already a magnet inside of the differential that catches the shavings that occur from normal wear.

Spent 3 days tackling this job on my 2012 Cayenne Base. The old fabric was dropping all over and looked terrible. Before you ask, no you can't just re-glue the fabric or inject glue. The failure isn't the glue, it is the foam on the old material that deteriorates from UV. The guy that came to do it in the end said Audi VW and Porsche are the worst for headliners and he's replacing them after only 5-7 years everyday.
Removing the old fabric and glue. The glue on the Cayenne is super oily and doesn't flake off like other glues i've seen. Took ages to remove and made a huge mess on my floor which took me about 3 hours to clean after.
Followed a video guide and ordered some material from a seller on eBay. The T65 and Permatex adhesive I used dried too quickly and wouldn't hold down the fabric in the grab handle holes. Assuming this was because of the oily residue remaining. Had to ditch the fabric as it was not usable (wasted $200)
Had to peel off the fabric that covers the fibreglass of the headliner board as I wasn't able to remove the new glue from the board. This is not recommended and was a last resort. However, it did allow perfect adhesion of the new glue.
Paid two professionals to come out and do it. The first wasn't able to do it due to the harsh angles around the front dome light and sunroof. 2nd guy was able to do it easily and this is the finished product.
Finally got it installed back in the car after the whole process taking a total of 3 days. Complete waste of time and I wouldn't recommend doing it. Just pay a professional to remove and re-install and pick the car up after. I'm usually awesome at DIY jobs this this wrecked me. The fabric is also a tad lighter than the A-B & C pillars but it will darken over time as the foam backing ages. Looks so much better than the old fabric that was dropping all over! Total job cost me $700 with all materials and labor (not including my time).

Also paid £20 for the workshop manuals from http://easymanuals.co.uk it's a simple 10 thousand plus page PDF 😆 but I think it will come in handy soon.

FWIW I ordered this manual as well, and it's a lot less useful than I had hoped. E.g., the oil change section seems to reference only the 6-cylinder (at least it doesn't show the drain plug for my V8, nor does it show the oil filter location in the correct place), and there was no mention of the sport exhaust option. There is a lot of information in there, I'm just wondering how much of it is relevant.
Most on here buy Alldatadiy for service info, and I've used it for other cars, but I wasn't impressed with Cayenne info. They were missing info that was in the factory pdf. I was specifically looking for two body procedures and Alldata said that info wasn't provided by Porsche. Went with Mitchell instead, and it actually has the service PDF broken out so it's fairly easy to find things and the missing info from Alldata was there too.
