Looks good. We did the same a couple of years ago. Made a huge difference here in southern California.

Thank you, I'm very happy with the look and the "performance"

Thanks Shuga. Amazon delivered the trailer wiring connector so I just added that too.

on the drivers side of the hitch remove the four philips head screws.

use a small screwdriver to unlock the center of the grey tab. Pull the grey tab upward.

tab is now in upward position

now push in on the exposed black tab which releases the protective cover. I sprayed some lube to make things easier, wasn't necessary.

pop!

Cool, now plug the
new 7 Pin connector new 7 Pin connector
in and get it fully seated. Then mount it all back up with the 4 screws and you're GTG.

Got the ol' 4 pin adapter. All done.

Verified the connection with my boat trailer, no programing needed, no lights in the cluster. Thanks to YogaYoghurt for the Amazon link and the assurance!

In the middle of wrapping my 14 CTTS and decided to put 958.2 turn signal mirrors on while the door panels are off. Direct swap with ~45 seconds of coding in the door modules. Eventual plan is to retrofit topview now that I have the correct mirror bases.

The paint was kind of rough, so I got it detailed and a single-year ceramic coating. I'm also about to perform the transfer case fluid change so I've been buying everything I need. Last piece of the puzzle is getting some car ramps so I can get my belly under the car lol.

Nice. Do you have LCA and if so does that continue to flash? Topview would be nice...

I do, but I haven't tested it yet since I haven't reinstalled the door panels. I did get LCA codes for each mirror while they were disconnected which went away when reconnected. I see no reason for them to not work. The door and LCA control modules are the same from the .1. to .2

My end goal is to try and get Sport+/launch control working. Poking around in PIWIS, it looks like there are only a handful of modules that are different between the .1 and .2 CTTS. TCU, cluster, ac panel are the big ones that house Sport+/launch control. I'm fairly sure the cluster firmware can just be upgraded since folks have been doing that with the PCM 4.0 retrofits. I assume the BKE can be software flashed too. From what I can tell, the button panel can't be reprogramed like on many other P-cars so I bought a sport+ switch panel to try.

The .1 has a specific TCU for the Turbo/S, but the .2 uses the same TCU for all models with different software loaded. I have a V6 TCU coming as well. Going to try and flash the latest Turbo S software and do a module replacement in PIWIS. Fingers crossed that piece works and my PPN account can remove component protection.

Let me know if anyone is looking for silver roof rails. Good price 🙂

How long did it take to drop the headliner? Have to do this on mine in the next few weeks.

Which fabric colour did you use for the replacement?

Removal took about 1-2hrs. Want to go slow to avoid any clips breaking. Color is few posts up.

Thanks! They're Falken Wildpeak AT Trails - 255/55. Just a bit larger than stock. They ride well, pretty quiet most of the time but some drone over rough surfaces, and are V rated. I'm a fan of them so far!
