I'm planning on using an aluminum rivet to secure the aft pipe but it looks like it may not be that bad to replace the whole manifold with the modified version. Has anybody done that without pulling the engine out?
wishing you well on the fix. If it were me, Would opt for a torx head screw to secure that pipe over an aluminum rivet. If that rivet ever pops, you'll have a piece of aluminum that will travel through your cooling system. Do it like the GT3 guys who pin their lines.

Which camera did you install? Is it flush like the factory camera?

This one: Reverse Camera For Porsche Cayenne MK2 958 Audi A7 Q3 Q5 A3 A4 Rear Boot Handle

Direct fit, but the OEM harness will need to be sacrificed and you'll need narrow insulated female pins. Run the cables from the dash towards the front passenger A-pillar, run them to the rear of the car by the rear dome light, then run them through the tailgate rubber cable hose.

Removal of the tailgate interior trim is very easy: two bolts inside the left handle, two bolts inside the emergency triangle cubby and one bolt under the right tailgate light. The rest is plastic retainers, just be patient and have someone hold it while you pop the retainers.

Good luck.

That camera is not flush like the factory type. The factory one is completely flush except for the camera that protrudes. I was hoping an aftermarket one exists that is like the factory one.

I don't know if you know, but you can just undo the factory's adapter plug, and the remaining plug fits right in to the tailgate handle? There is no need to sacrifice any part of the harness.

Factory one is first (flush), and aftermarket one (not flush) is the second image. It's a subtle difference, but would be nice if it were the same.

@Guards_Red_991 Can you share a picture of how the HD camera feed looks on the PCM? I have the Carlinklife kit as well. Thanks in advance!

My Cayenne did not come with a camera from factory, the OEM handle did not have a harness for the camera.

Here's the handle from the Ebay link above installed:

I got it from here, a few color to choose from if you prefer something else.

Actually it's a little too bright at night with the kid in the back will rear facing. Oh well, wanted the color to match.

Went skiing in Vermont.

Thank you for posting a picture, and for the discussion. Thanks to your picture, I realized you just need to cram that rubber surround in there further. Much, much better now - it was driving me nuts sitting on top of the hatch opening, versus in it! Thanks again.

Regarding the plugs when installing a camera in a Cayenne that does not have a camera previously installed, below are pictures of the harness adapter I was referring to that if you remove it from the car's harness, you can then directly plug into the eBay plug, with no splicing needed.

Non-camera hatch switch on the right, with the harness adapter unplugged.

On the car's harness, you can remove that adapter plug...

And once removed...

The remaining plug will fit directly into the eBay camera/hatch switch.
