I'm totally used to it now.

I have 5000 miles on my CS already. The first couple of weeks I noticed it all the time. Just did 500 miles today and I didn;t even notice it all. Perhaps the winter dirt makes the lines less obvious, but it has been really great with all the snow and ice we've had...

One other thing-- Your interior looks great.... The full leather option is, IMO, the one MUST HAVE option. I changes the whole character of the interior....

Thank you Rome. That gives me hope. I really don't get much snow. ... ordered it for the defogging effect. I will test that function once again tomorrow. Can you defog the heated windshield without switching the air from the vents ?

Default Options on the w00tMOBILE: Compass display on instr panel

Why did I order it: Felt that the dash was a little bland without the compass.

My review: Perfect prop to tie in with the rest of the interior that has an airline c*ckpit feel written all over it. Gives the interior a techie look. Visual spectacle at night. Some may consider it a unwanted "wart" on the dash. Not to me/wifey and more importantly my kids. Enough said, I'll let the pictures do the talking. BTW, what function does a compass serve ??

If I had to do it again: What do you think would be the answer ... please tell me that you had a mini-splurge on this option.....

W00t,
Looks great, completely agree it dresses up the top of the dash very nicely. Porsche shud give you some volume discount, you are going to help selling a LOT of extras! Keep it coming pls

Default Options on the w00tMOBILE: 4-zone climate control

Why did I order it: Vehicle will have rear passengers (my two daughters) 100 % of the time it's taken out of the garage. Plus each one of us have different levels of sensitivity to heat and cold temps.

My review: Loving every minute of travel thanks to the independent electronic two zone adjustments (left and right) with front and rear controls. So you the driver or the rear passengers can control the temps. The air-vents on the B-pillar is a big plus too (see photo). When the auto lock function is activated (see under left air vent on the first picture), the vehicle is locked automatically when a speed of 3 mph is exceeded. This is a very useful feature when you have kids in the backseat. On the drivers side door, there is a disabling control panel for rear air-conditioned areas in vehicles equipped with 4 zone climate control.

If I had to do it again: Not a must have ...... unless you have a pampered and demanding kid/s .... like my 12 yr old daughter ... So I would have to say yes.

my only qualm with the 4 zone climate control is if you DO NOT get it, the center console in the back looks HORRIBLE. (i didnt order, but regretted after the fact due to looks, eventho i will never have people in back seat)

Good point Riley. It is quite aesthetically appealing although I ahve no idea how that area looks in a Cayenne w/out 4 zone. Can you elaborate for the benefit of others. Do you have 4-zone on your build?

All due respect Riley, but I think that's grossly overstated; it's the same basic vent design without the buttons. TEHO, I suppose. The 4-zone is significant additional cost and complexity. A nice feature if you really need it but the primary occupants of the area behind my front seats will be luggage, golf clubs, and my chocolate lab, and she's not that picky about setting her own individual temperature.
