Added rear 17mm spacers. Not going to add them on the fronts although I have some Rennline 5mm. I have had issues with wheel shake above 80 mph too many times.

Installed the Numeric shifter last night.
Much better shifter feel now. Much shorter and very crisp.

The drop links are my next project.

NICE. I need to get another Numeric. I love the solid mechanical feeling of that thing. I only have the cables with factory plastic shifter box installed on mine right now, but that alone really crisps things up. The cables + shifter box is perfection.

Interesting that you only did the cables. I would imagine it would help. Stock shifter or the Porsche SSK?

I did not feel like fighting with the cables, so only did the shifter. Straightforward job as you are just removing the center console.

Also, can someone confirm those are the correct drop links for B8 struts? Front.

Holy popcorn!! Can I ship the white stuff back to you @John D II I can not wait to get this on the car. This is my 3rd Exhaust.. good lord. Had a Fabspeed Bypass, now running a Milltek.. excited to hear the turbos sing and wake up some neigbhors at the same time. John was great to work with.. very responsive and transparent. Much appreciated!

Nah, You can keep it :-) That stuff is a pain, but it does a great job of protecting the product during transit.

Enjoy your new exhaust and thanks for the order and the kind words!

I replaced my air condensers, and installed mesh behind the bumper openings. Job was relatively easy, but for...
  • Attempted reassembly 1. The mesh grilles need to be trimmed to the exact size, otherwise they won't fit in the air condenser or radiator cowls
  • Attempted reassembly 2. The cowl around the radiator wasn't seated right, so after installing the bumper I found the bottom screws didn't align
  • Completed reassebly 1. Upon refitting the bumper and screwing everything up I realised I didn't screw the condenser cowls back in, just fit them into the tabs! 😩😩😩

TBH - It was a PITA job in a small hot garage, but will be taking it all apart again this weekend to complete correctly! Might even take some pictures this time

by far the most difficult mod to install to date.

Milltek?? I think it’s one of the classiest exhaust I’ve heard on YouTube and they seem to be scarce. I really wanted one but didn’t want to spend the $$$.

Why are you getting rid of yours? What’s your review of it.

I agree! It is a great exhaust.. absolutely ZERO drone and a nice roar at WOT. I'm very happy with it. John had a blackfriday sale so I took advantage. Hoping I wont regret it.. my 42 year old ears are confused with what sound I'm trying to achieve now.. lol.

The Milltek is for sale if your interested.. let me know!

Well, I sold it!

Yesterday, she left the stable and being shipped to its new owner in SoCal. This one was a true gem and sure appreciated in price while she was in my custody for 2.5 years with only 7100 miles. Most likely, I will replace it with another ultra low mile 991.2TTS in the future.

Here is a link to her for sale ad as I never posted it here before. :-) Many cool pics and a place I highly recommend for buying and selling cars!
