I've read about and heard about your RMS plight, and thus, I inspected mine and decided to leave it alone. The tape trick works better than I thought I would. The thing that sucks is carefully inserting the pin so that needle bearings don't go falling into the bell housing... the way mine did... three times. -_-

I can see this job being a challenge with the engine in, but much easier with the engine removed.I had issues with the fork pin plastic bushing getting smashed when not aligned properly.

Tough one.... Replaced the engine bay light (on engine cover). I noticed the old one was out when I was changing out the rams on the spoiler.

Sylvania bulb 6411 or 578 (LED). I went with the LED.

To those of you who haven't upgraded the headunit.., what are you waiting for?! Purchased for $280 on crutchfield, simple installation and so much better. Best bang for the buck. The rennline phone mount is spendy for what it is.. but couldn't do without it now!
Also installed my Raceseng stainless steel weighted **** @ 735 grams. Trying to figure out how to remove the stock shift **** was insane. Simple.. but insane The throws are so heavy.. feels great. Need to get used to it though lol

blocks are 20"x20"x9". Used 2x4s and 2x6s, with 3/4 plywood top and bottom. Quite heavy. Wanted to buy Race Ramp stands, but didn't like the size they were offering.

they aren't going anywhere, liquid nails and 2.5" screws will make sure of it.. Still deciding on wheel stops. Right now I just put some loose 2x4s. I want to make them removable incase I need a flat surface. I will probably drill some holes and use bolts to attach and remove wheel stops, for now I just need blocks to get enough clearance for SUV adapters.

As far as work to be performed, Coolant pipes, Camshaft, Clutch, BBi GT2 clutch slave conversion, starter, will have to investigate oil leak that developed couple of months ago. Upgrading charge pipes, intercoolers (DO88 and IPD stuff ), replacing everything else that needs to be replaced, and clean everything that needs to be cleaned. I like clean engines.

That's crazy. Those blocks look well built but man, I'd go with more 2x4s out of fear!

Good luck with your project.

trust me, they are more than enough to support the weight of TT.
also, blocks are only to allow clearance for QJ SUV adapters. Once the car is on QJ at max height, I will use my blocks with adjustable Jack Stands on top of them for additional support for safety.

Have fun. I enjoyed doing the work on mine. Let me know if you need the cam timing plates, have a set to rent out.
