I had to build ramps to get my car in and out of the driveway. Visually they look like they won't support the car but they are solid. The things we do . . . LOL

Looks like you now have the forms to pour a concrete pad. Line the bottom with plastic and pour the concrete. If you need to move it, it's not permanently affixed.

we dont you drive sideways up the driveway lol? my driveway steeper then yours and i have no issues
blocks are 20"x20"x9". Used 2x4s and 2x6s, with 3/4 plywood top and bottom. Quite heavy. Wanted to buy Race Ramp stands, but didn't like the size they were offering.
they aren't going anywhere, liquid nails and 2.5" screws will make sure of it.. Still deciding on wheel stops. Right now I just put some loose 2x4s. I want to make them removable incase I need a flat surface. I will probably drill some holes and use bolts to attach and remove wheel stops, for now I just need blocks to get enough clearance for SUV adapters.
As far as work to be performed, Coolant pipes, Camshaft, Clutch, BBi GT2 clutch slave conversion, starter, will have to investigate oil leak that developed couple of months ago. Upgrading charge pipes, intercoolers (DO88 and IPD stuff ), replacing everything else that needs to be replaced, and clean everything that needs to be cleaned. I like clean engines.
I've been in construction 20 years. I'd lay under that car on those blocks. No sweat, those things are stout.
I tried driving at an angle but my driveway is not wide enough - it barely fits 2 cars side by side. It's an issue with the way these new homes are built in Houston. Only fix is tearing out the old driveway and laying one with the appropriate slope . . . first world problems. HA!
I barely drive the car now so the cost ($6k) of a new driveway - vs - the amount of time I drive her (about once every 2 months) doesn't make sense.
Well, it was cold and rainy here in Houston, so I tackled an issue that was over my head for a while. Replacing the potentiometer on my cab top. When I replaced the hydraulic cylinders two years ago, the arm of the potentiometer broke (brittle plastic - who would know). I managed to glue it back together. I've been concerned that the heat in Houston would cause a top failure one of these days if the glue I used broke apart.
Found the part for a good price and ordered about 1 yr ago. It's a PITA to replace as you have to remove the rear seat panel (behind driver's seat). I'm become an expert at getting these panels off and on. Managed to change it out and put it back together very precisely. The glued piece was still nice and tight, but who knows.. No more fear over opening and closing the cab top.
Over the course of a couple days...Put the car on quick jacks and pulled the turbos. Man, were those hard lines a PITA! I ended up cutting two of them. Now I have to pull apart the top of the engine to put new lines in.
haven't done it yet but will in 10 days i'm replacing the junction cable front he middle of the car to the starter/alternator to cure my hard starting issue

Working with Sam on upgrading to 68mm turbos.
Which Turbo's did you go with? I want to do this at somepoint as well.
Well, nothing done to the car today today, but I did just order up the Speedtech full 3" system w/cats & 3" Tips for my 11' TTS Cab. John was great on the phone and passed along an "end of year" discount to match the Black Friday deals I missed out on. Looking forward to January and an easy install. Tune comes next!
