Thanks! I didn’t own 997.2 but had 997.1 GT3 that I sold last summer. So it is hard to do a comparison now.

However compared to 981 GT4 (that I’m selling now), clutch feels lighter (and GT4’s clutch if I remember correctly is slightly lighter than the 997.1 GT3’s one). GT4 feels more nimble obviously than 991.2 GT3. And obviously, there is much more power and shorter gearing on 991.2 GT3. However I actually got used to long gearing on GT4 and liked it.

Need to drive 991.2 GT3 more (GT4 compared to 911 was also something I was getting used to in the first month or two).

And what I would really like to try driving is GT4RS with MT Since Porsche will not do it, maybe those guys would at some point? https://eagusa.com/gated-six/

LOL. Different times. I used to buy gas for less than a dollar a gallon.

I felt like I gave my .2 GT3 away when seeing today’s market prices lol. Had 28k miles white w/PCCB and factory sport buckets sold for $110k in 2020. Tried to persuade my wife to let me hold onto it for a little longer as I thought at the time the market was very low, but she wasn’t having it. Probably thought if I didn’t sell the car then and there I would’ve ended up keeping it which might have been true. Oh well the car went to a good home and didn’t really lose money from what I bought it for in 2014 with ~15k miles. Perfectly happy with that as I don’t buy cars to make money.

I try not to do that with cars, too stressful haha. ‘Bought it for x amount, how much did I lose/gain’. As long as I enjoyed it, I don’t care. I don’t want to dwell on that. Though, I will tell my wife, ‘oh yea honey, totally made money on it, where do you think the money for the next car is coming from?’ 👀

Don't feel bad, I also sold my 997.1 for less than it's worth today. It was a clean car with 40k miles and the buyer got a great deal. Can't look back only forward.

Kevin just keep the .2 and spend the money for a sharekwerks 4.1 and you’ll be happy. As much as I still want a orange/green rs and got screwed over multiple times. I’m thinking of sending my .1 out to Alex soon.

Personally I think he should just make it simple and list it for $1000 a mile $372,000

Never quite understood why someone would send a car like this to a big auction house. Super rare 10 million dollar cars trading hands between billionares, I kinda get it. What ever the fees are they are pocket change to them.

Looks like some pretty serious issues on this recently listed Grey Black .2 RS. Lots of paintwork (possibly entire car) and has several misaligned panels.

Oh I know. Honestly it's better for me to overpay or at least pay high market on a car I want to keep. Then I don't have the constant pull of what I could make if I sold it. And if there is no money to be made or even money to lose, I don't sell because I don't want to "lose" the money lol.

I have yellow belts, new tires and an RS steering wheel going in so my cost basis is even higher! Really making sure I keep it
