Asking USD$145,000. We are 1 hour from US border.

Car is a very well sorted driver's car; I have attended to the important preventative measures and there are no outstanding issues.

- Some typical peppering of hood and hips present at purchase prior to Xpel application. There are some marks under the front adhesive plate from prior plate holder. I would consider paint to be excellent for mileage. No leaks.
[*]
  • 43,000 miles
  • no accidents, no paintwork, no overrevs
  • I have done one track day with car
    • I purchased at 31,000 miles. Prior to that, dealership owner apparently tracked a few times then moved into 991 GT3. It seems original owner commuted in car as she shows no signs of being a track car.
  • March/16 - engine dropped and coolant lines welded Cdn$4000
  • Sharkwerks oil cooler lines installed $600
  • Cam actuator bolts checked and confirmed to be tight
they refused to replace under CPO (which has expired).
  • new RMS under CPO as it was damaged during engine reinstall
  • galley plug leak sealed under CPO
  • Recent DME (<2000 km ago) – zero overrevs all ranges

Recent compression check (<2000 km ago) normal all cylinders (140,140,140,145,145,145)
  • Sharkwerks bypass & tips (had them ceramic coated) $1200
  • Xpel Ultimate entire front of car - bumper, fenders, hood, mirrors, lights
    .
  • Harmonic Dampener installed $1700
  • June/16 – new front rotors/pads (OEM) $3600
  • new front lip 1 year ago
  • have stock exhaust
  • has MPSS tires, lots of life left
  • all fluids current, oil change booked in 2 weeks.

Serious enquiries welcomed.

Open to reasonable offers, lowballs will be politely ignored. I will facilitate PPI, at buyer's expense anywhere in Vancouver area. While I am happy to help facilitate pick up, please research importation process from your end.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,

Mark

I can personally vouch for the seller - Mark is a honest guy and straight shooter, I have known him for quite a few years now, always upfront. Great driver too, so I know while in his care the car has not been abused - Mark did not mention that while the dealer had the transmission off to do some warranty work, the clutch was checked and has lots of life left, which points to good driving technique.

I have worked on and driven this RS, and it's an awesome example.

Cheers,

Mike

Great opportunity for someone to get into a 997.2 RS for reasonable money. I wish I were in the position to act. Good luck with sale, I think it will go quick.

Considering that that would leave me with nearly $40K less than McLaren offered on trade...

Car goes to McLaren Friday.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers!

...True that. McLaren is rather refreshing compared with Porsche who nowadays, when you walk up with $200K and ask for a new GT car, laugh and say "Sold out last spring!".

Mclaren's open for business - they treat people well AND they discount their cars to boot!

Cheers,

Hey Mark,

Congrats on going to McLaren 570. I just saw them today at Autoshow.

Definitely more exotic and faster than GT3RS, but you WILL miss the manual transmission.

Not sure if you have driven a Mac but it was a pleasant surprise.

Hope you got out for a rip in the sun today.

Well sell that damn thing - the extra 4 cylinders are bad for the environment

i can wait if you have any serious interest.

How do you like your 570S?

i was all set then drove 650S the other night

Cheers
