A few weeks ago, I felt completely fulfilled (car wise) with the RS and a low-mileage 997.1 Carrera and wasn't planning on selling either of them. I took a deposit on the Carrera yesterday and Doug sent the blast on the RS today. I'm undertaking a 911SC hotrod build (likely with a 3.6) and am/have been looking for the right 987.2 Spyder. I know that neither will be a replacement for the RS, but life is short....
just called on this one and it’s not on their lot. Some bug with car guru that shows a few cars that are not in their inventory. I’m a couple miles away and was hoping to strike gold.
I contacted the dealership and the car doesn’t exist. It was probably a hack or some other bug. The real current price of this car would be north of $120k easily.

A few 997 GT3 RS’ will be up for auction next month at the Pebble Beach Gooding and Company auction. Not many details on these cars yet with only a few pictures of each.
The first is a pumpkin .1 RS w/PCCB, then a reverse pumkin (black/orange) .1 RS w/PCCB and full leather, and finally a Superman spec (Aqua Blue/Guards Red) .2 RS w/steel brakes.
More photos uploaded of these cars and all three have very low mileage. The pumpkin .1 RS has 1500 miles, the reverse pumpkin .1 RS has 2200 miles, and the Superman .2 RS has 7400 miles.
The Aqua Blue .2 RS sold for $368k all in.
The pumpkin .1 RS sold for $357k and the reverse pumpkin for $335k both including buyers premium.

I feel like some of these more traditional auctions might be a place to pay fair price… but those look about the same as BAT would have pulled.
I’ve bid on a few cars this year on Pcar and it’s def not pulling the same audience as BAT… almost bought a 90s f-150 on there as it was 25% less than the last one on BAT.
Former 7.1 GT3 owner now back in market-the new pricing seems to be at least $140k and high at $200 depending on color/ specs. Cannot believe how the 7.1 and 2 prices have escalated. I bought mine from SWITCHCARS, very experienced GT buyer and seller (SWITCHCARS) Owner told me this is the new market value.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this car never actually sold. That sale seemed strangely low. Could have been a shill bid
Says private seller in Texas. Maybe the car wasn't what it was cracked up to be and the owner wants to b=dump it and get his money back. He's not that far over purchase price, transportation and Texas tax.
