There was a dude 'pet...' who use to beat the **** out of his cars, he had a grey black RS during 'one of those' rallies and remember he was doing donuts in the dustiest desert with his windows down... also had a .1 frog at one point. Do not know what any of those vins where but guaranteed both beat on.

This might be that one.

Looks like this Carrara White .1 GT3 will become available soon at Porsche of The Main Line. PCCB. $121k original MSRP.

One a thread on here the owner before the current one talks about issues about the car revealed in a PPI (pretty much all minor and fixable). The whole thread pretty much focuses on the exhaust valves possibly being stuck in one position. This issue has most likely been addressed by now, but something I found.

VIN: WP0AC29948S792176

As you probably already know, that dash did not come like that from factory.

The rear center console may be a factory part, but I’d doubt it as they likely had the dash and rear center console done together.

I just some digging as the car looks familiar. GP had it for sale in October of 2018. I spoke with a sales guy there. MB of Wilsonnville then had it in March of 2020 for sale for $168.800 with 11,116 miles. The car has PCCBs, FAL, Sport Chrono, suede dash w deviated stitching and on the center console. No deviated sticking on upper door panels. Weird?

Maybe this links works;

Happy to help

It’s not a full leather car so it’s not going to have deviated stitching (or any stitching) on the door panels. The alcantara upper dash is aftermarket.

I am planning to keep mine unless I could not drive manual or if I needed the cash.

The only other car I'd likely consider would be a 718 Spyder or 987 Spyder in PDK if my reasoning would be not being able to drive manual.

Best of luck with your decision.
Not selling for anything else, I don't think this is an easy car to replace. That's why I'm on the fence haha.

Also found this one at Porsche Barrington IL.

2010 GT3, $157K asking price. 17k miles. FAL, DEM, Leather steering wheel (although not sure if this car came with it).
Not a highly optioned car, but it is Red.

VIN WP0AC2A96AS783593

https://www.porschebarrington.com/in...ac2a96as783593

The XM Sirius radio insert kinda hints towards a previous touring type street driver. Engine Op hrs could help tell that story further

Something is up with this car. It was listed for sale by Bill Kay Chevrolet back in May and sat unsold for a month. It was finally purchased but then sold again just one month later. Now it's been sitting on the market for months again. There's gotta be a story there. Clean 997.2s don't sit around for more than a few days unless they are completely overpriced, which this car is not.

Have you guys seen the disastrous ending to this black 9k mile GT3 auction? The peanut gallery was screaming for undercarriage pics so the seller went to a shop to take pictures and on the way, got rear-ended by an uninsured driver. Looks like bumper, quarter, and suspension damage.

What a bummer, especially for this to happen to such a clean car and an upstanding seller...
