I didn’t realize that sellers owe an additional fee on top of the listing fee. I just thought the seller got the hammer price and the auction house got the buyers premium which once you ad those two together is the selling price. The selling price is what the buyer pays and in theory should be market value.
That is really never the case in the big Auction Houses, typical for them to collect 10% or so on both sides of the lot.
This white .2 GT3 GP motors has looks nice, but a little hesitant as I am going by a listing of this car a couple years ago when car had 19k miles. Currently has 21k miles, PCCB, adaptive sport seats, and full leather. $128k original MSRP. No price or photos listed yet. As of the 2019 listing, the car was lowered 10mm, has a Techart 2.3 inch front lift, numeric shifter and cables, and Cantrell Transmission mount.
Wow so thats who bought it, I talked to the owner on Saturday and he said someone was committed. I was looking at the cost of doing the Guards and clutch it would be a wash for me if I just purchased that one and turn it into a track rat since i have the bar and LWBS sitting here in the shop
I texted GP... they are super excited to sell it to me since they said they have only had it for a day, they started off by telling me how special and rare the car was… I think I’ll let it go
LOL they just called me "We see you were the second in line for this auction, the winner backed out. Are you interested in the vehicle at the $209k list price?"
Scammers
gah that’s frustrating. The end price is great, tell them I’ll pay $5k over if you don’t want it 😂
GP Motors has this Aqua Blue/Guards Red (has since been replaced with White Gold contrast) .2 RS with ~18k miles. Car was for sale at Porsche of Stratham back in 2016 and one user here passed on it after their due diligence. Car was then at Elite Autos a year ago <1k miles ago from the current mileage and it had a roll bar with completely toasted PCCB’s. Car was priced at $190k and sat at Elite Autos for 6+ months. Car then was bought by Isringhausen who then changed the original red graphics and accents to White Gold. Car was with Isringhausen for a few months and is now being flipped by GP motors. No price or photos listed as of yet by GP Motors.
This car was for sale at Porsche Irvine in August 2020. Asking price was $89,991. I looked at it and test drove it (see my notes below). My take at the time was that it was a fine car for someone who plans on putting miles on it and tracking it, but the asking price was too high...I won't comment on the current asking...

I don't see an issue with this car unless you are planning on buying it and put it away inside a cocoon to preserve it for the next owner. These cars are pushing almost 15 years. You can't expect for them to be preserved unless they have less than 10k miles and were not enjoyed as they are supposed to be. My 2 cents.
