think it goes to show even the low mileage cars are not perfect. I’ll tell u right now mine isn’t cosmetically perfect even at 8500 miles. Did you ever find out why it was repainted?

Don’t know the reason unfortunately. Never talked to the seller, just remember the issue being discussed about this car as this is my ideal .1 GT3 spec. The paintwork is not necessarily a terrible thing. But for $170k, you would expect the car to be perfect in every single way.

Agreed. I think if it sells between 140-150 that would be reasonable. That is what I would value mine around I'd say.

It says it's sold now. Why is that? The color or miles, or both?

Does anyone know the backstory about the speed yellow 997.1 at HBI in NC? The one with the SharkWorks engine? I thought someone mentioned that their friend used to own it and did the work. I'll be in Charlotte this weekend and wouldnt mind heading up to see it if it makes sense.

Personally I love Speed yellow, and even more so that the caliper yellow matches so well. But the interior of that particular car "dies in a sea of black". Interior could use even just a few pops of yellow to tie the whole spec together.

My favorite top 4 colors are (excluding any PTS): Aqua Blue, Speed Yellow, RS Green, .... and then tied for 4th are Guards Red & Pumpkin.

Duh....I should learn to read. At least it has PCCB. Yellow cars attract bees. I had a yellow 355. Not sure if it suits the GT3 as well....to me. But then I thought GT silver didn't either until I saw one.

Didn't you recently pick yours up? What did you pay if you value it at 140-150 already?

Just saw an Aqua Blue/Guards Red .2 RS was inside a flooded warehouse (Gotham Dream Cars) in New Jersey. Insurance company may total this car. Car is at 5:35 in this video.

You are a lucky man! I think the “streetability” of a GT3 really comes down to your own tolerance for discomfort. It is certainly not a car I would commute with or really even use to go get groceries or weekend drive to a friends house for a BBQ. Heck my wife hates being in it. But as an occasional weekender and (very) occasional track toy, there is none better. I love how special it feels and sound. I don’t have a lot of free time these days to do solo drives so every chance I have to get behind the wheels to have fun I want it to be special. The GT3 delivers that in spade.

Now I need to get something that is “nice” to be in along my GT3 to placate my wife… maybe a 718 spyder?
