The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

so yea,... I guess I am just so surprised that the regular GT3's seem to be lagging behind in this crazy upheaval of price increases..... or least maybe its my supposition that they are lagging behind. But of course those were just "ASKING" prices for those GTS cars. Maybe they are really only getting $10-$15k LESS than ask,... and then if there is a $30k differential between GTS & GT3,... then maybe it makes a little more sense to me.
in the end,... yes, I was supposing that Doug's white/white should be higher than the $120's. More like the mid $130's given the spec & mileage.
I also gotta chime in & say that i am LIKING these higher mileage GT3's!! ... those of us who are still driving ours want to feel as though we will not be thoroughly punished for doing so in about 10-15 yrs. Lol

Spot on RAudi & JBxstr - I am absolutely in agreement that if the non-motorsport GTS cars are creeping up so high, how can it be that even most of us believe the market for .1's & .2's should still be in the $120's (non-RS),... or even the RS variants be in the $170's like they were 2-3 yrs ago. Absolutely that the experience is no where close to the GT3.

Also I might add more GT3s are low mileage compared to GTSs and other non-GT models. And what's considered low mileage is different between the two.
Lastly a 20k mile GTS is usually mint because of the way they are driven. GT3s can have 10k miles and be run hard and put away wet because the owners often, but not always, buy them to do just that. Granted they are built for it, but there is no denying hard use will show and wear out mechanical parts faster.
When I look at the last .2 GT3s being offered for hgh prices recently .1's will follow.
EDIT: This black .2 looks pretty promising at $155k. Nicely equipped and based on earlier for sale posts and that Youtube video looks great. I can't deal with my DBM 991 GTS and trying to keep it clean but for the less neurotic this blackone looks great.
Whoops looks like they raised it to $160k Black .2 GT3 FS
