That car looks like its been tracked hardcore. Nobody needs a clutch at those miles and why a new differential upgrade? I'm sure just for the back hills, RIIIGHT

of course it's been tracked - girodisc rotors, race pedals, etc. - so what, it's a track car

mine's been tracked and it's a frigging GEM

I don’t mind if it’s been tracked, as long as it’s been taken care of. Over rev report seems to be good. Cars are meant to be driven. Exercising the engine is something I’m a huge proponent of lol

Agree, these cars were built for the track. It will be a total waste not taking to the track and exercise it properly.

The fact that the guy told him that he had to pay to get it out of a storage unit wasn't right, but if he tries to get him in trouble there are people out there that are going to come after you (or maybe I've watched too many murder mystery movies).

Regarding the conversations regarding the selling price of the white RS from yesterday, my take on that is that Doug took all of the risk. There are low mile cars that have problems and he could have easily received the car and not sold it for what he did sell it for. Also as mentioned, I'm pretty sure just a couple weeks ago he was asking $199k for it? The person to blame for selling it for $220k+ is not Doug. The market dictated that. I only have positive things to say about Doug in my interactions. I'm lucky enough to know him personally and live relatively close to him as well.

Joe
I was simply quoting the most recent drama about the window sticker and title transfer. Your posts are not negative.

Oh, and I agree regarding Doug/Switchcars.

Thanks! Once all the details are ironed out, I'm going to fly down to SoCal to pick it up and make drive back. I'll let you know how it goes.

Wouldn't it be great if we could trust all dealers? Then as a out of state buyer, I wouldn't have to worry so much about getting a PPI, etc. I guess if that were the case, it would take the 'excitement' out of the entire purchase experience lol
